the best lawyer in Ottawa hands down. Amazing in the coutroom, amazing knowledge of the law. Well worth every penny we paid him. Ive been through numerous dealings with the courts throughout my years and have never witnessed someone as thorough and impressive as Solomon. Not an easy guy to get a hold of before trial but it was worth the wait. Expensive but cannot complain considering the outcome. Quality representation costs money and he is as good as they get!

Terrible communication with clients. We did most of the work ourselves. First meeting talked about our case-then spent the remaining majority of the time talking about how and when he would be paid. (Very expensive) btw. Bruce J...kinda a **** move being charge w/ assault for a cop don't you think?

He does know firearms law or so it seems. He told me he is a co-author of the act. My my issue with him is that I felt he did nothing - of course his bill accounted for each cent of the retainer but there was nothing of value. After emailing specific questions, the response seemed to focus on what he was interested in - my questions were never addressed. I'll admit email is a poor way to judge tone etc but he seemed distant and aloof and I felt he was focused on something. Basically I never heard from him and I felt that he didn't care. $3k down the drain. I went with different council - less expensive and finally had the allegations, procedures and how we would proceed explained to me. What a relief! Somebody on my side! Turned out my case was simple and we were ultimately successful.

Took our money, ignored our calls and request for legal info for months, YES, months. Led us on that he was going to deal with a matter, texting that he would phone back and then disappeared within days of the time limits allowed for us to pursue. Still trying to get remainder of retainer back.
