I've heard terrible things about this lawyer. She can be unethical and manipulative. She has no idea what it's like to raise children, let alone co-parent with a toxic ex. She would do well to learn about personality disorders and coercive control.

A complete waste of my time. After receiving a flash phone call at the consultation time (she hung up before I had a chance to answer) I was lied to later by the assistant who stated that Allison called me twice? Nope. Asked for a screenshot to show she called twice, they ignored this request. NOT ONLY THAT, but she informed me that she gets people in all the time that “waste their time” and after reading my intake form, she wanted to ensure I had the $3000 deposit first. Details in the form might portray me as unable to afford their services, but I have the money set aside for not just the retainer, but a full blown litigation case. EITHER way, what an awesome way to treat potential new clients.
Allison is not good at keeping appointments or treating her clients respectfully; I question her ability to competently navigate the legal system. How will she argue my case effectively if she’s already making up petty lies to get out of helping people she perceives as too poor to help?

Over a year and after $20,000 or more in legal bills with her, I am no further ahead than when I first met with her for the initial consult. I have no separation agreement and no custody agreement. Throughout the time I used her, she never offered any advice. Her legal assistant will only email me "for your information" whatever emails the other party has sent. just email. She overlooked multiple items on my file and made multiple mistakes in Resolution Court about what I wanted. It felt as she didnt know my case at all. It felt to me that she was playing games with the opposing council. I was incredibly displeased with her and would not recommend her services.

Alison Chickloski showed the wonderful blend of Humanity & Law (admirable). I was pleased to experience the Professionalism of RCMV Law everything was fact checked- which I highly respect, leaving no stone unturned and making sure all the I’s were dotted and T’s were crossed (attention to detail was impeccable).
Ms. Chickloski gave up valuable personal time and several weekends to successfully find answers for my case while dealing with condensed deadlines.She was able to clean up a very messy Do It Your Self Divorce gone wrong. A very realistic estimate was presented at start with a clear knowledge of the direction my case would go. I am thankful for the direct approach and the sensitivity shown.

I found Alison Chickloski to be great in every way, Her firm is courteous and they respond to questions efficiently and promptly. She is great at understanding a clients needs and doing her homework to get the best possible solutions.I plan on using her firm for all future legal needs.

Alison came well recommended and her firm has been a pleasure to work with. I had very quick timelines and she and her staff made sure everything was done on time. She had ideas and asked questions which I never would have thought of. I will recommend her in the future.

Alison came very recommended to me from a friend. After the horrible lawyers I had before, it was nice to have counsel who responded to me and let me know what she was doing. We went to a mediation and I am happy with the results. Yes, a lawyer is expensive but it's a lot better than trying to do it yourself!

so far Alison has done ok, I do feel however that I am over paying for her services, but I think she deffinitly kicks A** on my other lawyer...we are not done yet, but hopefully soon.

Words can't describe the disappointment in Alison's performance. Promises made but never delivered. Over billed again and again. Her assistant and her billed for the same things and then tried to cover it up with explanations that contradicted each other. Do not hire this woman if you have to go to court on any divorce issues dealing with children or property or support. I am considering reporting her to the Lawyers society. Very questionable knowledge and advice.

Paid over $100,000.00 to Alison, in regards to custody and division of assets. If you are looking for someone to get things done, go elsewhere. Numerous errors made, no results obtained, gets sidetracked easily, easily pushed around by other lawyers, all Alison is interested in is increasing her billed hours....

Most lawyers would have distance themselves from my case which lasted several years. My ex-spouse without a doubt is well known in the Calgary QB court as a litigation terrorist. Alison was very efficient in handling all aspects of attacks lauched by my former spouse. The most noteworthy is when Alison was at QB dealing with another case when she observed my former spouse trying to obtain a fiat dispite being ordered by the court afew days earlier that no further applications by him are to be made. Alison entered the courtroom and waited for my ex-spouse to commence his action for which she identified herself as the opposing counsel and advised the Honorable Justice of the existing order. Heads up play with my best interests, is the only way to describe this action by Alison. Dispite the numerous attacks by my ex-spouse by submitted letters and complaints to the Cheif Justice and Alberta Law Society, Alison prevailed!

Alison loses direction very easily and sends documents without the client's review and sign off. I was surprised how easily the opposing solicitor pushed Alison around. I wouldn't recommend Alison or her firm if your seeking visitation/custody of your child/children. Being a professional, my expectations were a lot higher and my case never seemed to be a priority.

great work-- dont listen to a review that cant even spell her name right!! she has donr more for my file in one month than my last lawyer did in a year! also great staff (Hi Ann!)
