I have same experience with Leslie Whitten services like was described in first review
She never stepped in a courtroom to represent me. All the time I was in a courtroom with the different sub attorneys: Jana foreman, Amanda Lockhart. I was not able to represent any evidence.
I do not recommend her to anyone.

Leslie Whitten is one of the worst lawyers I have very hired. She overcharged me and never set foot in a courtroom to represent me. She subbed my case out, yet billed me for time she claims she had talking to the sub attorney. So in essence, I was being billed foe two attorneys claiming to work my case. Opposing council asked for disclosure 30 days prior to trial and neither attorney produced witness lists or evidence. So when I showed up for court, I was not able to call a single witness or produce any evidence and there was a lot. I would strongly urge anyone seeking an attorney to stay as far away from Leslie whitten as possible. She lured me in with a small retainer then kept asking for money. Then prior to trial, against our signed contract, she asked for another retainer of $5000.

I'm very surprised and shocked to see such terrible things wrote about Mrs. Whitten. I hired Mrs. Whitten for a child custody/divorce matter and I have been very happy with the results thus far. So far, Leslie has definitely been able to get me everything I have wanted out of the divorce. As far as who receives custody of my kids, I have been extremely impressed as well. I am getting better than I would have settled for and I could not be more happy with the results. I don't see an issue with Leslie whatsoever, as her assistant or her have always kept in touch with me. I highly recommend Leslie Whitten to my friends and family, I'd definitely recommend her to anyone else as well!

If anyone is looking for an honest attorney please look elsewhere!!! We hired Mrs. Whitten for a child custody case for my epileptic sister trying to get her full custody of her 4 yr old son b/c the father had left & hasn't been in his life for months & has been dabbling in things no child should ever have to grow up around. My sister had saved every penny to get a good attorney to help her since she can't work b/c of her disability in hopes Whitten would fight for her. They went to court where Whitten right off the bat tried to give up the case to the father b/c my sister had a previous legal matter on her record (which was a misunderstanding and has been cleared up). Of course this was after giving her $4000 to take her case & wouldn't budge on the amount or show up for any hearing until she was paid in full.I know lawyers get a bad rap but Whitten has to be the most dishonest person I've ever dealt with.The father got 50/50 custody and now little boys life is in jepordy b/c of her.
