Caroline cramer is a professional thief and con man who steals from dead people -see discipline hearing sept 17, 2015 -cramer writes herself into her dead clients wills to leave herself testamentary gifts and has her common law spouse witness these rewritten wills wills -the law society of mb did NOT disbar cramer or report her to the police to have cramer and her common law spouse criminally charged for these crimes -cramer has stolen thousands of dollars from our estate but she is being protected by the system because she is the wife of a dead judge

I am appalled that this lawyer is still licensed to practise. She was hired by my EX to handle house sale. She issued disbursement of funds on house sale incorrectly where separation agreement amounts and payouts had been made made very clear. I had approved the statement of account and disbursements in advance, then she changed it when disbursing, taking a joint debt entirely from my portion of sale proceeds. Said she didn't know why she did it, but managed to change the Statement of Account and disbursements to match what she'd done...after I had approved the original statement. The math is even more convoluted than what I've indicated. If you use this lawyer, check everything VERY carefully.

Don't go to this lawyer.I had a simple estate sale. She was suppose to take care of the bills. One of the debts, Caroline called the company's customer service trying to get the amount owing, INSTEAD of the companies lawyer that was listed. And Cramer is a lawyer, she should have known whom to call. I called the lawyer and got them to fax Cramer's office. We get that resolved and she tells me as soon as the money is in from the sale she will call me. Time passed I checked with the person we sold the house to, as we knew them. They check with their lawyer who tells them that the money was sent to Cramer's office 10 days prior. She was collecting interest on my money. She is really incompetent.

If there was a rating for heavy charges for paltry and poorly prepared work then I'd have given her a 5. A chronic over-charger of fees, if you deal with hear tax her bills!

This woman and her staff are AMAZING! No other Lawyer I contacted in Winnipeg had the knowledge & compassion that she had when it came to having a Trust Company release my husband's inheritance from a Trust Fund they set up for him. She was so kind and compassionate & knowledgeable. She always made time to see us,& advised us what was happening each step of the way, I had consulted other Lawyers previously & was told they did not deal with Wills. The one Lawyer that I did see prior knew less then I did about Estate Law. and she actually was asking for money to represent me when she admitted she did not know that type of law. Caroline is AMAZING, & VERY knowledgeable. I will NEVER forget what she did for my Husband. The first time you visit her office, you feel as if you are sitting in her living room, The atmosphere is so welcoming, Thank you soo much Caroline. - My Advice? DO NOT bother going anywhere else, there is no one as knowledgeable & compassionate as this woman is. -Debbie

Caroline and Ray helped my mother with her Power of Attorney. Very knowledgable and friendly. Spent longer than expected chatting with my mother to make sure she understood everything. Cost was very reasonable. Would use them again.

Never go to this lawyer. We've dealt with her twice and twice she messed up on the simplest tasks. I ended up doing some ofh the work for her, because she couldn't get it together. Caroline is rude and unprofessional.

I had endured limited contact with Estate Attorneys of Manitoba and Caroline Cramer, Q.C. In that short time I learned she is short-tempered, semi-abusive to staff in front of her customers, frequently running late, insensitive to others' schedules, immune to her clients' concerns, slow if not unwilling to address them, disorganized and incapable of perfroming the simplest arithmetic.

Avoid this lawyer!
My wife and I set up an appointment for preparing our wills and arrived a few minutes before our appointed time. We were kept waiting almost one half hour and were about to leave when Caroline finally cane out to take us into her office. Upon entering her office, there was a dog lying on the floor. In response to our glances at the dog, she asked if we were comfortable with dog there. We responded that we were not, so she took it to an outer room. Having a dog in the office is completely unprofessional.
The will preparation seemed to go okay, but when we finally got the wills, we noticed that our address was incorrect, so that had to be fixed. When we had our wills redone several years later, our new lawyer noticed a major error in the wording of our old wills, so it was fortunate that we did not die during this period. Based on our overall experience, we would not recommend her.

Normally, I am not one for reviews, however I was very impressed by this lawyer. She was recommended to me by the bank. She has a private, boutique style office and provides very personalized service. At first, I thought I would shop around for someone to handl my father's estate, however once I met her, I decided I did not need to look elsewhere. She was friendly, and thorough and handled the estate details- which were over my head. I would definitly go back and have her draw up my and my husband's wills too. Overall, I think that a client would be very lucky to have such an experienced lawyer who is also a Q.C.

This place on sargeant avenue is a JOKE! She and her assistant that Guy are the two rudest, most inconsiderate idiots in this field. I went there one time for convenience in location for a real estates purchase and holy did they mess it up and they even piss off the seller's lawyer. The seller and their lawyer didn't know what was going on, and I didn't either cause Caroline and her Assistant didn't do their job and didn't communicate back to me, I ended up writing up the offer myself, going over it myself, amended myself and she just did the faxing. She didn't even have the courtesy to call me when there was a counter offer and it was time sensitive. To make a long story short, it went so bad that I had to switch lawyer because she made so many mistakes and her assistant was a complete idiot, they both got yelled at by the seller's lawyer so she was actually afraid of contacting them on my behalf. What a useless lawyer, she did nothing for me and she wanted to charge me $500.

She was handling my parents' estate issues & I learned that she had made several mistakes. Also, I didn't like her manner & her assistant was very unprofessional.

Caroline is a no nonsense and to the point lawyer, she likes to get things done in a timely fashion, and fees are quite reasonable.
