Well, I hired Jim back in 2000 for a very complex civil case. he never took a retainer and won the case for me hands down against 4 opposing lawyers. he is the best there is!!! I am now living in BC, which he also helped with that real estate deal from Ontario to here. sincerely, Jocelyn Emary

Very rude and condescending to his clients. Took easy way out, waste of my money, didn't do much to defend client. Don't hire him!

This guy is brutal, very unprofessional - he must of written his own positive reviews which would be typical of his character or lack thereof.

Came to court and it seemed like he hadn't even reviewed my case before he got there. Kept trying to talk me into making a deal when I wasn't guilty and it seemed he just wanted to take the easiest way for himself. Didn't return phone calls until after the 3rd or 4th time trying to get him. Would never recommend him to anybody.

Took our case through Legal Aid. Pretty sure that the first time he read our file was before we stepped into the court room. He failed to ensure that proper witnesses were subpoenad. Told us his colleague was going to do our appeal, only to have him show up.
