We were disappointed in Ms. Bolstadt’s representation. We found her to be a sloppy advocate + poor communicator, with no in providing client service. She withdrew from our case after 18 months and tens of thousands of dollars we paid over a $300 discrepancy in what we owed. This seriously impacted our already high-conflict case and resulted in our call-back date being removed from the docket and never rescheduled. She failed to share the GAL’s new parenting plan at a key point in our case — before she went on a month long vacation — which added nearly two months of additional heartache to our negotiations. And, despite numerous assurances she updated the amount of money owed by the kids’ dad during the case — she did not, which resulted in thousands of dollars we can no longer collect. (And why on principal I did not pay that remaining $300 she charged for emails about this issue.)
She may be perfect for simple cases, but for those with more complicated situations, beware.
