Not all attorneys are snakes! Mark Borns is a good, knowledgeable, experienced, honest, and effective attorney. He let me know right from the beginning that it would be a long drawn-out slog (because he was familiar with the pouring-gas-on-flames approach of the opposing counsel). Mark handled the situation with skill and a thoughtful strategy. I was very happy with his paralegal, too. Her role is critical--providing a great sounding board for talking through strategy. As a team, they were effective, efficient, and in the end, they saved me thousands of dollars and major emotional headaches, due to their good counsel and successful negotiation(s). I like that I can sleep and night, and not feel bad about our approach. Borns Law is the best in the business.

Mark Borns has been my attorney since 2006. His dedication, knowledge, communication skills, sense of humor, concern. He has successfully represented me through a long, complicated, and stressful divorce; and has represented me over the years on related issues that have arisen (post-divorce). I have referred friends and colleagues to Mark for a variety of legal issues, and I will continue to do so. Mark's work is superlative. I have nothing but praise for him and his work. Give Mark a call, you won't be sorry. For what it's worth, I AM an attorney.

Very mixed service taking place over a 1-2 year divorce process. Often Mark was quite disengaged, was not well-prepared or even focused on the matter at hand. I frequently had to repeat the facts of the particular issue when it should have been his role to review the case file. However, he did have a good knowledge of the law, was obviously experienced and had (has?) a diligent assistant who handled the financials. Overall, I had the sense that he was coasting on his reputation and felt that he really didn't need to dig in and do the work. At the same time he felt no remorse at charging tens of thousands of dollars. Literally.
