Brian was my appointed attorney a year ago and did not help my case at all. He did not communicate with me at all. On court day I went and his response was, "you didn't have to be here." The opposing lawyer and him had known each other for years and worked out a plan without my knowledge that was not in my favor. He told me that because of my educational background I would potentially be in a higher income bracket so it didn't matter the amount of child support I should receive. I feel like the history of my child's life with his father did not matter. I would not recommend him to anyone. I hope he has retired be now!

There is an old saying that goes "you get what you pay for" and there is definitely a reason he works for legal aid. He forgot important evidence in my case, had no idea what questions to ask in the courtroom to witnesses and basically made himself and me look like idiots. He told me I was the only guardian of my child and my child's father had no rights, however we had a previous consent order stating we were both guardians. He pretty much had no idea what was what and gave me advice on how to act towards my child's father that ended up making the judge mad and rule against me because it looked like I was breaching the court order even though this was his advice. He should have retired long ago. The only recommendation I would give is NOT to use him!
