NEVER HIRE THIS LAWYER AS AN EXECUTOR for a will. It took 4 years to settle our father's simple estate. He took weeks to reply (with poor replies) to emails. He brought the wrong file to a Zoom meeting that had been booked weeks in advance and had no clue what was happening with the estate. He refused to give us account numbers that we needed to access accounts where we were direct beneficiaries until being repeatedly prodded by us and the bank His financial records were difficult, if not impossible to decipher, even by an accountant and another lawyer. He charged us for many executor actions on top of the percentage he took as executor. He charged lawyers fees for actions that could have been done by clerks and probably were. He caused us a great deal of grief but we ultimately decided that taking him to court would increase our grief.

Mr Legh is such a calming person. I was very stressed by what was going on and he helped reduce that significantly. He was great to talk to.

Jim sure seems to know how to get a fair result. It took a couple of years which i thought was a long time but the first offer of 30,000 ended up at 140,000, so I was very happy. He is worth talking to

Mr. Legh did a great job helping me with ICBC. We settled before trial for much more that I was offered at first. He was very good throughout.
