I called to get a quote over a year ago to have my will updated. I’m changing three lines and it costs the same as having a whole new will drafted, plus his assistant “Lois” was the most rude assistant I have ever encountered. over a year later and a dozen phone calls (they never call you, you practically have to harass them) I still do not have an updated will. I went across the parking lot to Staples & Swain and had a whole new one drafted in 3 weeks for nearly half what I was quoted, and I didn’t have to deal with Lois Canning. He uses a Hotmail account for email. What lawyer uses a hotmail account???

He Registered our second adjoining property wrong and they automatically Merge Together , now we cannot Sell either one ! Only positive thing He did was sold us Title Insurance ! The company is now trying to sever our Property so We can sell one . If Buying an adjourning Property Make sure Your Lawyer has Up to date knowledge on the planning act Law ! My Wife And I Do Not wish this Real Estate Night Mare on anyone ! This is a true reveiw , if You want more info on it call City Of Kawartha Lakes Planning Department And they will fill You in on how Properties automatically Merge ! A lot of Farmers are in the same boat ! I Hope My Review Helps educates the consumer on this Ontario Real Estate Hidden Land Merger !

Horrible, worst experience of my life. Cost me thousands of dollars giving me bad advice. Held funds that were owed to me then stopped answering my calls and emails

Used him for a marriage separation. He will not advocate for you, seems mostly concerned with doing things by the book. Will bill you for every second he spends on your case even if he doesn’t add any value. Not as knowledgeable as he should be for the cost. Communication from his office is TERRIBLE, on a few occasions meetings were set up without notifying me when and where they would occur. Very disappointing.
