This attorney gave me WRONG advice about dropping a protection order; she told me I could do it myself which was incorrect-she was supposed to do it. This was after she took my $3000 retainer. Then, when a very important transaction was to take place (sale of our family home) I tried to reach her by telephone for 10 days with no response; this caused irreparable damage to the marital estate (over $400K). It seemed she agreed more with the opposing attorney than taking the time to listen to her client-me. Then when she realized her error, she quickly withdrew from the case (the notice of hearing I received was a day late); therefore I was unable to even show up in court and tell the judge what happened. So basically, she took my retainer, did nothing, and then got herself dismissed from the case. I asked her office repeatedly for a statement of services vs. her time spent on my case, I received nothing. BE VERY WARY OF THIS FIRM! She also gave me totally inaccurate advice.
