Ms. Sugar is the worst lawyer I have had yet. She was unprofessional, as she was not prepared for our meetings and I was constantly reminding her of what we had already discussed. She didn't review my file prior to our meetings which wasted time and money. She reminded me of how many clients she has!! Not my problem. I ended up with less than I went in with and like others, she made promises that she did not live up to. I strongly recommended seeking other counsel.

I am sitting here reading this and litterally dying inside that I did not find this information on this one prior to sinking over 16K into her, and her fake promises. I am in the process of loosing SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT. She is handing everyting to my abusive ex husband. Including our child. Every word of the bad reviews prior to my own are the absolute TRUTH. BE WARNED AND TAKE HEED.

Ms. Sugar is the most ignorant person i've ever encountered. She doesn't care about her clients and only gives those with money her attention. Rather than help parents get time with their children she advocates for settlements. Parents that are deserving of their children and forced to settle for what she thinks is a good deal. She talks over people and doesn't let them state how they feel. She will do the opposite of the clients feelings, and then try to convince them why she's correct. She is condescending and rude and treats people like they are beneath her. Her priority is not her clients, and is solely on how much she can make off a client. She's rude and yells at her clients making them feel as though they are criminals when many of them are seeking help to keep their children. Ms. Sugar is a poor excuse for an attorney. All of her years of being an attorney and she never learned any people skills or how to treat her clients with dignity or respect.

Mrs. Sugar represented my family recently and we are thrilled. She went to the mat for our family member. She was compassionate, committed and determine to represent our family member with all she had. We cannot say enough about this wonderful woman. Ms, Andrea Sugar represented me in a divorce child custody case, she was more concerned with money than anything else. I provided all evidence needed for my case and more, as soon as Mrs. Sugar found out who the lawyer would be representing my ex-husband, she bailed, I went from being a full time mother to seeing my son every other weekend to having 1 dinner date in the middle of the week. I tried to appeal my case and she wanted nothing to do with representing me. It's been 7 years now, I lost out in school plays putting my son to sleep doing school work, any mother quality time was taken from me.Thank you Ms. Sugar for taking that from me, and not fighting my case, thank you for not thinking about the best interest of my son needing his mother in his life. I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone.

She rolled over in my case and I bearly had any time with my son for many years ...the only thing she cared about was my money once she got that she bailed as fast as she could giving away some of the best times in my soms life...Every Lawyer since then told me how bad she boched my sons life... I feel sorry for anyone that uses her..oh yea she talked about black people like they were dogs...

I went to ms sugar I had a complaint about my child custody case with visitation. Instead of focusing on my child's welfare she was acting like she defends my ex. when I called her about changing the agreement she refused to return my calls saying that I had to pay the balance in full in two weeks even though she told me I could make monthly payments. So I reported to the Maryland bar association. Who informed me that if she offered an agreement to make payment on balance and I'm paying it she cannot get out of the agreement to represent me

Ms. Sugar is a great lawyer and has the client's best interest at heart. She has handled my child costody case in the most professional manner. I could not have asked for a better lawyer. I can truley say that she is not about the money. She works hard to ensure that the needs are met concerning all issues of my case. I couldn't ask for a better lawyer. She allows me to express myself and she listens to my questions and concerns. I am satisfied with her response and the results of this case.

I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone. Her number one priority is to get your money. She is terribly unorganized; loses paperwork, can't remember what she has done or didn't do, doesn't follow up on issues. You will pay for her lack of ability. She is an extremely poor communicator and will not let you talk, talks over you, is rude and arrogant. In a simple divorce case, she was told what she needed to offer the spouse which was basicall less than 50% of marital assets or take it to court. I spent a year and THOUSANDS of dollars for negotiations and meetings with her and my ex and my ex's lawyer, which I specifically told her I did not want to do. It could have been taken care of with a simple letter to my ex's lawyer. She behaved as though she was representing my ex!! After having me pay more child support than I'm required, giving away all my belongings in my home, giving up custody, and giving my ex >50% equity in the home, she wanted me to give my ex $6000-$8000 for nothing.

Attorney Sugar a TOP NOTCH LAWYER. My case was Domestic Violence related in which the Plaintiff was/is an cheater, abusive, and mean, filing false complaints against me. Attorney Sugar handled my case in which I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. I am greatful for him on a daily basis because his actions made such an impact on my life at the time as well as now. There should be more Attorney's out there just like her. Attorney Sugar will not waste your time or hers. Her communication skills are EXCELLENT. She is definitely one of the Best!!!

I should have read this blog before hiring her. She is definitely is out to get your cash, she does not listen to you, runs up the billable hours with no results, then ask for more $. We had to get another attorney after giving her $3000. She wanted another $1000. We cut our losses and went with some one else. In this case, you do not get what you pay for. She advocates for herself and not her clients.

Attorney Andrea Sugar has handled my case PERFECTLY!She deserved every penny, her work was very proffesionaly done, i had all the questions answered on time. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THIS LAWYER! Andrea is the worse lawyer I have ever met she doesn't look out for your interests, she will take your money and run with it. She will try to settle your case quick so she doesnt have to deal with it but then somehow you will still end up paying what you would have if you went to trial. She is a rude **** who treats her clients like****. She won't let you talk or ask questions. Its all about her ALL the time.

if you are in legal crisis, she can probably handle your immediate need. If you goal is to form a mutually comfortable trusting client attorney relationship, forget it. Ms. Sugar is not skilled in the area of listening. I entered her office with very specific questions and had to repeatedly ask for the answers. She had her own agenda, not mine.
