He didn't listen to my need as a client, I went along with him because I trusted that he was fighting for me, but after about two years of not getting anywhere and having him tell me that that's not a long time yet (I just wanted to get this over with), I finally challenged him and told him what I needed him to do, that's when he backed out and dropped me as a client, no backbone to fight for his client, just kept telling me he's trying to keep me out of court, which I learned later would have actually been better for me, but more work for him. So as long as he was able to get me to sit in meetings with him and send emails back and forth, he was making easy money. BTW, he also seems to be a little too interested in your Vax status, perhaps that's another reason he didn't fight for me, cause we don't have the same view on it (but that's just speculation - however, worth mentioning)

Just like a doctor has bed side manner, lawyers have a desk/client manner. Well he has none. He has no desire to help anyone.

I hired this lawyer for a domestic case. After paying 2k for retainer, i was promptly told i had no chance and should take the 2wk sentence. I was aghast! I hired someone with good experience (Saul Simmonds) and won my case easily. Do not hire Mr.Legault if you want decent representation.

Terrible right from the start. Please do not hire this lawyer unless you want to throw away your money. He forgot I paid his retainer so he did not submit my paperwork. he told me I would not win he forgot everything and anything I swear he had worked for my ex. He did not follow up on anything. I wasted 15000$ for nothing

All he cared about was the retainer and would constantly fill my head with all the things he was going to do for me. None of these ever came true. In fact, it came down to sending another letter, then another letter, then another letter etc and he never actually following through with anything we ever discussed. He will get you wound up thinking you will win the world and he won't do anything for you but keep asking for another retainer. I miss out on tremendous amounts of time with my children because he "forgot" to request to the judge that they sign a certain piece of paper. I reminded him in court that we should do that. He said it wasn't important. Apparently it was (my new lawyer made that pretty clear). Never sent documents back to me or ex's lawyer or court on time. All this unfolded after having to get a different lawyer and my thanks was yet another bill. If you value your bank account and sanity, stay far away!

Worst lawyer ever. All he wants is the money and doesn't care about you. He doesn't defend you but instead turns around and makes up his mind about he. He told that I deserved to go to jail and that's were I was going.

He's a great lawyer if he is working against you. If your dealing with family law refere him to your ex.

This lawyer is unbelieveable, not sure how he got his degree. He was more interested about the retainer then my actual case. After a few weeks of studying my case his assistance calls me in to review it. I was excited to hear what he was going to tell me, turns out he didnt even study my case, he was reading the report in front of me for the first time. He then tells me I have no case. What a complete moron. I thought my chances were shot but I called one last lawyer,luckly he was able to take on my case, and said i had a great chance to win my case. Legault should not be a lawyer. He's ruining the rest of his partners names in his firm. He looks run down, like he has been just hit by a train,he has no facial expressions, mono tone, and smokes like a chimney, always in and out of the courthouse. DON'T USE HIM, worst mistake you will ver do.
