from the moment my husband signed,it was a never ending cycle of trying to track Mr.Herbert down. He promised to have a occupational therapist,He was to contact ICBC, to file the claim and apply for part 7 benefits. Mr.Herbert never came through with either the therapist, nor did he contact the other drivers insurance.weeks were spent leaving unanswered voicemails and emails, even asking for a copy of the contract my spouse had signed. we decided to seek different representation.It became apparent Mr. Hebert and JMPLAW had done nothing.our file was pathetically thin. No witness statements,no ICBC filing nothing just a few hand written notes and the receipts we sent him.This is 3 months after my husbands accident and it was like he had simply got the contract signed and forgot about us.
Being the victim of a MVA is a scary experience, You expect the lawyer you sign with to be trustworthy and lead you on the path of recovery.you don't expect completely disregarded by your legal rep.

This was my lawer in my accident case with ICBC. He was given my case by Simpson Thomas & Associates (a law firm). This lawer does not support his client's even in a genuin case. When he started working with me he said that he will take care of my case but after he was close to settelment with ICBC his attitude was different with me. It was looking like he was not my lawer. He was looking like he was hired by the ICBC or the person who rear ended my vihecle in the accident. His behaviour was also not acceptable with me in some meeting when I was not accepting very low and unacceptable offer from ICBC for the settelement for my physical injury compensation. He works with "Simpson Thomas and Associates" in Vancouver.
