Mr. Steinberg made assurances about what he would do prior to being retained. He read the prosecutors report and tried to get me to plead guilty. He did not speak to a single witness in my case in 13 months. He refused to present evidence I found to prove my innocence to the prosecutor. He then demanded a trial fee payment two months before the scheduled trial when he had agreed if we had to go to trial the fee would be due a month prior to the trial. Once he received his trial fee, he then ask the court to continue the trial an additional three months. He then refused to hear what my investigators found to prove my innocence. After terminating Steinberg he has refused to refund my trial fee which he never provided services for. I went to trial and was found Not Guilty. I filed a grievance and he now is saying he under charged me for the trial fee. He has kept trial fee funds for a trial he did not represent me in. He only wanted my money. His conduct is and was criminal in my opinion

Overcharged. Probably knows what he's doing, but NO communication. Did very little for his money. Terrible experience!

I came to Mr. Steinberg after having violated a DUI parole and leaving the state of Colorado without permission. Mr. Steinberg represented me while I attended an inpatient facility in California and he made sure that my parole officer and the courts were aware of the positive steps I was taking to address my drug addiction.
When we made our first and only court appearance Mr. Steinberg explained to me exactly what materials to bring and present to the court and he expertly laid out our case to the court. We were able to get exactly the verdict we were looking for despite the fact that the D.A. was asking for a much harsher sentence.
After the court resolution I went to speak to my P.O. and she had nothing but nice things to say about her interactions with Mr. Steinberg. She also emphasized to me how lucky I was to have engaged an attorney that really seemed to care about the outcome of the case.
Mr. Steinberg provided me and would highly recommend him.

Mr Steinberg was eminently professional, attentive to detail, and extremely knowledgeable of the system. His experience truly mattered; he knew the ups and downs of all angles. He was also supportive of me personally and was clearly sympathetic to my case. The outcome was as good as we could have hoped, and I would definitely recommend him to others.
