Martinez is the best. I don't know who this fool is complaing about Arthur Martinez, ask any judge or lawyer this guy is the best, he has had murder cases dismissed federal cases dismissed he even has had people that where in prison that got new trial and he saved their lives. Martinez is the BOMB

He was appointed as my public defender a few years back. At first he told me and my family that he would try his best to represent me. But as months went by, I never heard from Mr. Martinez, I left him voice messages, however they were never returned. I left messages with his receptionist, but he never called me. He had missed most of my motion deadlines, he mislead me in taking a deal I didn't want to. I talked to him twice in one year, and those where times I called him...he never once called me. He refused to talk to any of my family members, so he made it impossible to contact him. I ended up taking a guilty plea bargain due to frustation...because I didn't have guidance in how to report him or how to fire him. At the end, I got screwed over. if he treats me this way, I know that he will treat paying clients the same way too. there's so many other things that I can't list on here that he did...please do your research on him first before hiring him, or using him as your pd
