If you are going to hire Allyson, bring a lot of money and expect little in return. Very limited knowledge and she makes attorneys look worse in reputation.

I am shocked and appalled by the negative comments on this webpage about Allyson Misevich. I had to have a will updated with power of attorney for healthcare before a serious operation in September. Allyson was highly recommended as an “ace” in court with almost 30 years experience practicing law. It was a last minute thing that I had to do…and Allyson did it virtually “on demand” the day before my surgery. I cannot say enough positive things about her expertise in the law and her pleasant openness to me. Another point others have mentioned is their lack of getting a hold of her in a timely fashion...this is utter nonsense. She was always available to me…she gave me her personal Gmail account so I could ask her questions, which she answered promptly-in some cases in the middle of the night. She has a paralegal who is extremely competent and they make a great team. If you want your law issues handled right, do yourself a big favor and go with Allyson…you won’t be sorry.

At first she seemed very nice like she was all about getting my case done. I ended up going through a standard divorce without children and the case took almost two years to finalize. My ex and I were both mostly agreeing to get this case done and there was no debt, children, or property. She never returned phone calls and only up until I REPEATEDLY called her did she ever return them. She called off two cases once everything was ready to go and did not take any action in promoting the case to go further. In fact my ex's lawyer ended up having to give me the advice to counter-petition. She is not helpful at all and stalled off my case. She also drug out the most of my finances that she could and then when it came to making payments said she needed the full amount up front. She was also NOT willing to work with a payment plan at all. She has been overall EXTREMELY rude and I was surprised that my lawyer was actually siding with my ex as well.

I cannot say enough about Attorney Misevich. Like most people, I had no idea who to turn to for the help that I was about to need. Allyson listened to me, she didn't just "hear the words", she listened to me. She presented all of the facts both good and bad about what was about to happen. I must say that the open lines of communication totally blew me away. During the negotiations she never lost sight of my original intent; a fair and equitable resolution for both parties. She fought hard to make sure that I got what I wanted, and never promised anything that she didn't think I could get. I truly believe that no one really wins at the end of a marriage; the best I could hope for was to walk away with some dignity and self respect. Attorney Misevich allowed me to do just that. I was so impressed by her that when I was ready to start the next stage in my life I consulted with her again; this time to take care of the details for the commitment to my new bride.

I am a local attorney who does not practice family law. When faced with a divorce, I asked several of my colleagues who the best family law practitioner in the Rockford area was. The same name was echoed among my colleagues, Allyson Misevich. Before I hired Allyson, I personally visited the courtrooms where Allyson practiced. It was apparent that Allyson had years of experience in the courtroom, had the reverence of her colleagues, and commanded the respect of judges. It was also evident that she had a vast knowledge of family law and was a force to be reckoned with.
As my divorced begin, I was up against a scorned stay at home wife who wanted me to have very little to do with my child. Allyson fought tooth and nail for more than a year and was able to convince the judge that joint physical and legal custody was the appropriate outcome in my case.I recommeded two of my colleagues to Allyson and they had successful result as well. My colleagues and I would all hire Allyson again.

Allyson is a FANTASTC attorney! She came highly recommended and I can see why. She was very prepared and knew how to win my case. I am so happy that I won custody of my kids. They are priceless to me. She is very busy, but well worth the wait to see her. She really cares about you and your kids.

Attorney Misevich was great. Won my case! Well worth the retainer and very fair in her hourly amount considering all of her experience. She fought for every detail and explained it all to me perfectly. I highly recommend her!

Attorney Allyson Misevich did an excellent job for me. Got me custody of my kids, with supervised visitation for my husband. She protected us like we were family. Her monthly invoices were always accurate and fair. She is a keeper!

it cost me 5000 dollars just to get child support , and no communication at all. not recommended,no detailed bill information at all ,just invoice numbers with a bill,i recommend not useing this lawyer unless you have alot of money,sad but true
