This is a very dishonest person who will cheat and lie for your money. She does not return phone calls or emails for long periods of time. She will take your money even when she really knows your case is a loser.

Very poor person, no interest in the case, she let too many issues fall to the side, not focused. She is not dedicated to her career, just looking for a pay check.

My daughter hired her, I attended meetings with my daughter. Vickerd missed important aspects of the divorce, we did not find out until we hired new a lawyer. By that time it was too late to recover, we fell behind and could not makeup what she lost. I couldnt tell if Vickerd was incompetent or she just didnt care to protect us in all aspects of the divorce. She glossed over many things that were important.

My experience started out bad , she had me double booked. She took the other clients in first and pushed my appointment fifty minutes late. This is after she already canceled my appointment with no notice the first time.She kept pushing things along not taking time to answer any questions. At the fifteen minute mark of our appointment a knock came on the door and she informed me she had other clients waiting.what a joke and waste of time this was i took time off work to endure this insult. oh and by the way she has no fight she said my case was cut and dried so just sign on the dotted line. what an absolute waste of my time. People do not wast your time or effort here. If this the way this lawyer treats a potential client( I was interviewing her to see if i liked her)i would hate to see what she is like after she is retained.

She has great knowledge of how to make more money from my ex husband. Her communication has been ongoing and we are into our 7th year with needless and costly litigation over things that can easily be resolved without lawyers. To say she likes to end things quickly would be a stretch. She supports abusive men who simply change their tactics from physical and emotionall abuse to legal abuse. As long as they want to keep hurting she supplies the means to do so. Hard to believe she s a mother when she s behind men who treat their wives and mother of their kids this way. I guess some people have no conscience.

I have the same sad story as the rest... she kept making promises and didnt deliver. Cant prove it but I suspect she was not willing to upset my husdand's lawyer so Vickerd never pushed back.

I would not recommend her to anyone, especially if you're looking to resolve anything quickly. Something as simple as access to children has taken more than 6 months. Every appointment rescheduled at least once, sometimes 3 times. Twice with no notice whatsoever she was unavailable for phone appointments. Surely if I did that I would be billed for it. I rearrange my life in order to be present and its meaningless, she has no regard for anyone's time. When you hire someone to do a job, you should expect just that. I could not imagine being such a flake in my job, I would be unemployed. Oh and our one and only court date - she was about 25 mins late...said shes "never been late for court before" yet I see another rating indicates she has. Totally brutal, if my case wasnt so cut and dry I would find someone else. Never would I recommend her. The fact that she's double book repeatedly shows she's greedy and only in this for herself. Unreal.

Con artist. Promoted herself endlessly and promised me whatever she had to to make me happy. I kept paying her and I lost in court.

She didn't do anything at all with my case I spoke with her personally only once during the entirity of our dealings with one another. I found her snobby, judgemental and biased.Not a people person..more interested in advancing her career in any way possible than she is interested in a client..secretarys nice tho.

Vickerd cant fight. For my case, she lost every motion she was involved in. She came late to court twice. Was reprimanded by judge for not filing paperwork. Put very little effort into organizing my case, her and her people seem to work without planning ahead. I lost too much with her and had to find another. Maybe she is good for uncontested divorces... but she cannot fight. Opposing lawyer would say things that defy logic and Vickerd didnt know how to push back. She kept promising a win and good not deliver... she knew I had money and I was prepared to pay so she strung me along as long as she could.

Neg reviews must come from losers....every case has one....Top Notch...she researches decisions and uses them....staff is always responsive....she was my sons lawyer and he achieved full custody of an infant and he was 19.....To you folks that act on impulse, save you BS negs and be truthful stop letting emotions take over.....Marnie is a truthful trustworthy lawyer and Saira is excellent at her job.....nuff said

Ms. Vickerd was my lawyer for my divorce. She helped me out immensely she told me up front she didn't like drawn out battles and that she hoped we could work it out in a timely fashion with fairness on both sides. We achieved this through hard work and open communication. We only asked for what was fair and settled in the middle. She returned all my calls to her office and was available when needed. I would recommend Marnie in a second to anyone needing a lawyer.

She knows her stuff. Good luck getting her to follow through!! I've had meetings discussing the next plan, the next letter to be sent. The letters never get sent. When I place calls to the office, it's the same excuses...she's in court, she has your file, she'll call you..... my ex and lawyer are left hanging wondering what's going on. I wish I could answer them. I have no clue and they make no attempts at responding to my requests. I respect the fact that she's a busy lady, but stop taking on new clients if you can't handle the ones you have!

she could not close a simple visitation and adjustment of support in 4 years that cost over $10,000. Her mother is Mcfayden's book keeper. Don't trust her!

Marnie and her staff are excellent and professional. She is definitely not in it for the money. She has the respect of the Court and will go up against George McFadyen with tact. She doesn't put up with his antics. I would recommend her to anyone. They return phone calls promptly.
