Working with Kamla has been one of the most reassuring and empowering experiences during a very challenging chapter of my life. If I could rate Kamala less than 1 I would have! she was a referral through my work where a half hour consult was allotted. I was inquiring on behalf of a family member and as soon as she heard the words “Legal Aid” she didn’t hold back and said “I don’t do legal aid cases!” And was trying to hang up. I said I’m not asking you to take this case, but am asking for your advice, and Kamala said no one will take that case because it’s like working for free! I reminded Kamala that everyone has a right to legal representation, then she continue to say “IM NOT MOTHER THERESA! I again reminded her I was not asking for anything of her but advice. I gave her a scenario and asked what my options would be and she strongly said “THATS A WEIRD QUESTION to ask! how would I know!?” Kamala mentioned that she was $500/hr, after this disgusting representation of herself and her firm, I let her know that I wouldn’t pay 2 cents for her! she’s not worth it & has wasted my time! DONT DO IT! = my advice!

I had an awful experience working with Kamla Lewis. She was disorganized and distracted throughout my case, which ultimately led to significant loss. I chose her based on her impressive online profile, but in reality, she took my case in the wrong direction and did not perform well in court. Furthermore, she would not respond to communication in a timely manner and would miss information provided to her. I would not recommend her under any circumstances.

Kamla Lewis is a terrible lawyer, who charges exorbitant fees for little to no results. She doesn't listen to the problems conveyed and doesn't return messages in any timely fashion, allowing clients to remain in limbo not knowing whether or not the case is proceeding. She caves to the demands of the opposing counsel even if they are unreasonable and is bullied into reactive lawyering instead of taking the upper hand in cases. Her entire approach to law is to see how much money can be wrung from the client, in the hopes of stringing them along for maximum payment. AVOID RETAINING KAMLA LEWIS AT ALL COSTS -- LITERALLY!!!

Stay away! Read her review from all the law firms she has bounced around from. Mark Epstein lists her as an experienced CAS lawyer. She gets thrown out of court by Judges for her conduct and then Mark Epstein refuses to refund your hard earned $$ when she acts unbecoming of a lawyer. She is a liar and a snake!

Kamla is an excellent Family Lawyer and very professional to work with! She is honest, transparent, a great communicator, results oriented and has her client's best interests in mind. Kamla truly partners with her client. Even in the face of tough situations and challenges, she is calm and composed and thinks on her feet. She was very kind to take on my case mid-way when I changed Family Lawyers and Kamla delivered fantastic results. I finally felt things were falling in place. I am so glad that I found Kamla and would highly recommend her.

I can’t say enough about Kamla’s strategic thinking and communication on my family law matter. I retained Kamla in early 2018 after a bad experience with a high priced “Downtown Toronto Lawyer”. The difference was night and day. She kept me in the loop at each step, was always ten steps ahead of my estranged spouse’s Family Lawyer, and discussed legal costs with me at each major step, which I really appreciated. I felt like we were a great team. I would not hesitate to recommend Kamla Lewis.

I am a current client of Kamla at Radley Family Law in Richmond Hill, for almost 3 months now. She has helped me tremendously in my family law case. Unfortunately for me I have had an emergency motion occur at the beginning of my file. But Kamla was able to successfully, defend my case. I now have multiple days of access with my child per week,and I have a restraining order lifted. Kamla's hard work, knowledge of the law and compassion is helping me through this difficult time. I am not sure where I would be if I did not hire her and the firm.

Kamla Lewis now works for the Radley Law Office in Richmond Hill Ontario. She started working on my case late 1995 and made no progress in any area. She had poor understanding to the court procedure and made no effort to understand my case. examples of poor work she had done: miss-filing of materials; missing the date to reply to the opposing council; misinform me of a court date; totally lost focus and could not speak coherently under pressure. She is not cut out to work in family laws. better find some other path to develop her skill in traffic law or the real estate law.Do not work with her at all.

Was very disappointed with the quality of work received from Kamla. She was unprepared and showed that she lacked knowledge in family law. Was charged a crazy amount of money for nothing. Should've represented myself as I probably would've done a better job. Worse $14,000 i ever spent.

Ms. Lewis is an excellent lawyer, I was able to get custody of my children, I was successful at my constructive trust claim, retroactive and ongoing spousal support and child support. I also won costs in the amount of $67,000. I am happy. I would recommend her to any one going through a divorce. Excellent in the court.

My experience with Kamla was positive. My case was very complicated. It involved property, pensions and child and spousal support. Kamla assisted me with a very good settlement. Her fees were reasoanble. I would recommend Kamla as a lawyer

I am shocked to read the comments below regarding Kamla O Lewis. I have been a client of hers since before she started working at Grewal Law Office. She is a great lawyer who is considerate, efficient and got great results for my case within a very short time. The comments below sound like they are coming from Mrs.Grewal her previous employer because I remember when Kamla had left the firm Mrs.Grewal had contacted me and tried to tarnish Kamla's reputation so that I fire her and stay with Grewal Law Office instead.
Kamla is a great lawyer and anyone would be lucky to have her represent them. I did not give satisfaction to Mrs. Grewal on believing all the lies she was saying and I urge you to do the same. B

I had a very bad experience with Ms. Lewis. She didn't have a grasp on Family Law let alone the complexity of my case which included a pension. I appealed her bill and she is no longer with the firm and I won my case. I would not recommend her to anyone if you are going through a divorce. She prefers a judge to rule because she doesn't know how to negotiate for her clients. She would of lost me hundreds of thousands of dollars if I didn't fire her.

She never listened to anything I said. She did not follow my instruction to make an offer. She did not answer my questions when we were at the court house. She took almost $18,000 and I got nothing in return. I would never use her for anything. Everything was 'urgent" and a "rush" and none of the information I gave her got to the people that needed it. It was a complete waste of my time and money. I have been through hell and back, and she is no longer with the firm.....Please be careful when you select your lawyer.

My Experience with Kamla and Kania Lawyers was a positive one. She negotiated a very favourable seperation agreement on my behalf (Pensions, Property Issues, Spousal Support). P.S. all those other negative comments-- I would disregard.
