If I could rate Kamala less than 1 I would have! she was a referral through my work where a half hour consult was allotted. I was inquiring on behalf of a family member and as soon as she heard the words “Legal Aid” she didn’t hold back and said “I don’t do legal aid cases!” And was trying to hang up. I said I’m not asking you to take this case, but am asking for your advice, and Kamala said no one will take that case because it’s like working for free! I reminded Kamala that everyone has a right to legal representation, then she continue to say “IM NOT MOTHER THERESA! I again reminded her I was not asking for anything of her but advice. I gave her a scenario and asked what my options would be and she strongly said “THATS A WEIRD QUESTION to ask! how would I know!?” Kamala mentioned that she was $500/hr, after this disgusting representation of herself and her firm, I let her know that I wouldn’t pay 2 cents for her! she’s not worth it & has wasted my time! DONT DO IT! = my advice!

Kamla is an excellent Family Lawyer and very professional to work with! She is honest, transparent, a great communicator, results oriented and has her client's best interests in mind. Kamla truly partners with her client. Even in the face of tough situations and challenges, she is calm and composed and thinks on her feet. She was very kind to take on my case mid-way when I changed Family Lawyers and Kamla delivered fantastic results. I finally felt things were falling in place. I am so glad that I found Kamla and would highly recommend her.

Was very disappointed with the quality of work received from Kamla. She was unprepared and showed that she lacked knowledge in family law. Was charged a crazy amount of money for nothing. Should've represented myself as I probably would've done a better job. Worse $14,000 i ever spent.

She never listened to anything I said. She did not follow my instruction to make an offer. She did not answer my questions when we were at the court house. She took almost $18,000 and I got nothing in return. I would never use her for anything. Everything was 'urgent" and a "rush" and none of the information I gave her got to the people that needed it. It was a complete waste of my time and money. I have been through hell and back, and she is no longer with the firm.....Please be careful when you select your lawyer.

My Experience with Kamla and Kania Lawyers was a positive one. She negotiated a very favourable seperation agreement on my behalf (Pensions, Property Issues, Spousal Support). P.S. all those other negative comments-- I would disregard.
