If I could rate her ZERO I would!! Feb 2020, Honjas checked the wrong box on the legal forms for the adoption of my daughter by my ex as he has been her dad since she was born. It was agreed to allow him to do so and just add to the birth certificate him as Father. When I received the official filed documents in the mail, it had removed me (biological mom) as mother and only listed him as father. We went to her office (all 3 of us) and not admitting a mistake was made on her part, re did the paper work (after I corrected a couple of mistakes) and then never heard from her again, and no update on the filing of the amended birth certificate. My daughter has called MANY times, with no return calls. This lady is a joke to the lawyer community! If I am spewing my dirty laundry out there, there's something to this. I could go on of all the BAD experience we've had with this "lawyer". So if the 5 star ratings are true, they are lucky!!!! Oh and I still am not on the birth certific

Ms Honjas is certainly knowledgable, and argues well in front of the court. My case was settled in my favor. Maybe it's her staff, but she is seriously lacking is in follow-through. She fails to file paperwork, forward paperwork, she misses deadlines, etc. I wouldn't use her again just based on that.

Great person an excellent attorney. She works hard helping you with your cases and much you know up if something is not in the workout. She does not make promises you cannot keep and her knowledge of law and the system is outstanding. I would definitely recommend this attorney to anybody who needs her service.

This lawyer makes a lot of promises upfront, but when it get's down to it she fulfills none of them. She does not take much action for her clients. She allows the other side to drive all filings, and then she barely responds, if at all. She does not review documents and is generally unaware of where things stand and what has been provided to her. She pretends as if it is your fault. She has cost me thousands of dollars on matters that any decent lawyer would have been able to easily resolve in favor of their client. Also, she is a very poor negotiator, never providing supporting facts or even replying to the other sides long list of misstatements. I could go on and on... I recommend you look for another attorney as this one basically does very little work for her clients. You will be left with her bill and very poor results!
