I agree with other negative comments on this site about this lawyer. Lazy, lazy, lazy is the keyword. Poor to no communication. Appears to love the "sound of money" -- he told me, cheerfully, that I was worth 5 million dollars -- so untrue...don't I wish I was worth that much! Focused on the money aspects of the case and not the abuse I was suffering by my estranged husband's behaviour. I hand delivered a document to his office, in which I begged him to help me and my daughter as we were in a terrible situation of crisis at the family home -- no word from him. Two weeks later, I lost my temper with him, and he purported to "fire" me. I then fired him. Stay away from his fool -- in my view, he must have purchased his QC title from the governing party in power! I will be filing a formal complaint with the Law Society of BC about him. The LSBC needs to establish practice standards for family lawyers in BC; there are some unscrupulous ones out there. Beware!

Mr. Kahn never fails to work to his best ability for all his clients. He had a tireless work ethic, is bright, and thinks on his feet. He understands the importance of understanding the case and knows how to support his clients' position.

This guy started an opening argument at my hearing by saying that I was worth 50million dollars. First off, this was a divorce proceeding, secondly, he was wrong. Apparently this once great settlement lawyer has lost his stuff ever since his heart attack. Stay away. He also is out of touch with modern men and their desire to parent their children equally.
