I can't say enough about the help I received here. I fought my case for asylum on my own for some time. As a writer and a political activist, I didn't think I would need help from an attorney. After observing Ms. Tamargo in court, I decided to retain her. The court granted the asylum petition for my family and I. Words cannot express our appreciation.

Tuve un problema que aparentemente era muy sencillo. Sin embargo, me entere que me podia costar la residencia. Yamile Tamargo me represento asegurandose que mi residencia no estuviese en peligro.

Yamile Tamargo is the most unprofessional, incompetent, despicable lawyer that I have ever met. For the last 8 months she has changed offices twice; assistants like 3 times (one of them lost my documents) and currently she has no office and was apparently “sick”. She has not answered my phone calls for about the last two months; I had to get my daughter in law to leave her a voice mail acting like a client (and guess what she immediately called her back) When just a minute before that I had called her and she hadn’t answered the phone call. My daughter in law passed me the phone and that’s when I said it was actually me calling and she gave me the “I’ve been sick for 3 weeks” story. And to top it all off she forgot to file the motion to remove my order for deportation before my scheduled interview. I highly advise you DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER!!!!I already lost more than $3,000 and now I have to use another lawyer. she wil take your money and do nothing to help you.

Listen up, not only is she good at what she does she works with you if you are financially challenged. I didn't know any attorneys and I found her listing here on YP. I called and she was able to see me the same day. She really got me out of a serious jam and I can't thank her enough. I totally recommend her to anyone that needs help and is not sure who to trust. She truly is the great!
