I had Sheldon Stein as my trustee for bancruptcy. My lawyer was upset that we were assigned him. My lawyer warned me that he was going to be very rude and unpleasant and she has seen him make clients cry in front of him. She was so right. I have never felt so belittled and humiliated in front of a room full of people. He is nasty, cranky, rude and gets too easily fustrated and yells at you and your lawyer.This is not a happy man at all. I don't believe he has a nice bone inside him. He hates everyone. I felt so nervous and uncomfortable ND I felt so bad for my lawyer getting chewed out by him over ridiculous things. He shouldn't be allowed to treat people this way.

My attorney told me it was bad news to get Sheldon Stein as the Trustee in Bankruptcy. I found him to be abrupt and generally unpleasant as well as condescending. Probably the wrong person for this job.

My experience with Mr. Stein was awful. I'm sorry that I didn't have the nerve to file a complaint when I appeared before him for a bankruptcy years ago. He's rude and nasty to pro se clients. My friend had the same experience, but she filed a complaint. The individuals before me had attorneys and he was helpful; I was the first to appear pro se and he spoke to me like a dog on the street. I just wish these hearings were video taped as well as being audio taped

probably the worst interpersonal skills I have ever experienced in a lawyer. Anxiety ridden and severe inferiority complex. Angry, bitter individual. The most disliked United States Trustee per consultations with 4 bankruptcy attorneys.

I am still after 9 years dealing with a banks claim. I had informed that the initial bank, that the bankruprcy court was negotioating and eventually settled with, was sold to another bank. When I found this out, I informed My lawyer, and he said that I did not know what I was talking about!I would not let this lawyer represent my cat!
