I've been practicing law for 25 years; 20 of them family law. In L.A. lots of people sue their attorneys and they should if they were harmed. I've been sued three times and every one of them was to get out of a legitimate bill. How do I know that? Because when my attorney convinced me to give them a pass on what was owed, they each agreed to drop their suit. I have malpractice insurance so if I had actually done something wrong, why drop the lawsuit? Each and every one of them had an attorney who was charging based on what they recovered. So why drop the lawsuit? I work hard for my clients and the only ones who are unhappy with me are the ones who do not listen to me, but insist I do precisely what they want done, even after I tell them that what they want to do is a waste of money, and they are not going to get what they want. What I'd like to know is when is someone going to start a website that let's attorneys complain about our clients!
