Joseph Henri Hector Emond (1982) of the City of Ottawa, was found to have engaged in professional misconduct for:
• failing to cooperate fully with an investigation of the Law Society by failing to produce, in a timely manner, all information and documents requested of him in communications from April 2008 to December 2009; and
• failing to properly maintain books and records.
By Decision and Order dated March 22, 2011, the hearing panel ordered as follows:
1. The Lawyer is suspended for 10 weeks, commencing immediately and continuing indefinitely until, to the satisfaction of the Director of Professional Regulation of the Law Society,
(i) he has demonstrated that his books and records are in full compliance with By-Law 9 from the earlier of (a) the date of the last trust comparison or (b) July 1, 2002, to the present, and that he has fully produced all such books and records for the above-noted time period; or (ii) he has demonstrated that full compliance is no longer possib
