She refuses to answer legit questions during the initial meeting, so I ended up hiring her without knowing what I am getting or balllpark costs. She won’t answer any questions till she gets all financials. I just felt she was yelling at me all the time. Cost me $3000 for nothing.

You’ll mostly end up talking to her dim-witted staff, not her. Mediation briefs had lots of typos. Would remove things from the briefs without explanation. Incorrectly advised me about whether a parenting plan would result in shared or primary custody, leading to an unsuccessful mediation. I’ve been charged nearly $10K for a mediation, a letter, and a brief I was expected to write myself and fix their mistakes. Tried to charge me a $450 admin fee too for opening my file when I was a pre-existing client. She was often either in court or on vacation and couldn’t be reached leading up to mediation. As a single mom trying to protect her kids, I hired a lawyer to fight for me and take the stress off me a bit. Their services doubled my stress. She barely spoke in mediation and I was left to speak up for myself against an emotionally abusive ex. I also had to ask questions multiple times over email before getting a response. Maybe her client load is too heavy to devote enough time.

Terrible experience. "Sound legal guidance, clear strategies, and compassionate support"? CRAP. Interested in three things: Demonizing opposing party; drawing things out as long as possible; billing as many hours as possible. A blight on the London legal community.

Horrible experience, racked up $35 000 in billing with no results. Sent totally inaccurate information to the opposing counsel, wanted to drag case on to trial, lost control of her temper a number of times, when giving inaccurate information, which hurt me in front of a judge. 10/10 would not ever recommend to anyone ever.

Horrible and inexperienced with people. Agreed her main concern is the billing. She gives fast results that hurt you if you go the distance to trial. Her ideal situation is quick in and out fast money.

She was very interested in writing letters & billing hours. Was not interested in what was best for me & my situation. Gave conflicting advice. Some of which was completely inaccurate.

I spent almost $30,000.00 and ended up firing her because she wouldn't listen to me;she wrote up some type of agreement that I had no say in at a settlement conference. I don't know who she was representing or if she was just trying to let the case drag on. She wasn't assertive at all!!! She kept saying that we would deal with back child support at trial and she didn't make much effort to get ongoing child support therefore I didn't get any at all; I don't know how much more money I would have had to spend to get it. My ex hadn't even given full disclosure and I had already spent $30,000!! The system is broken! It shouldn't be allowed to drag on and if those involved don't cooperate they should be fined.

Horrible experience. She seemed very smart and aggressive at the beginning, but when we met for a case conference, she wanted to get it all done as quickly as she could have. There was no option for me to think the agrement over.Hand written notes in the lobby of the courtroom, she missed 2 main items of my negotiation because as she said "cases never get settled this quickly" Waste of my money and I will never recommend her to anyone. I even filed a complaint.

Lisa Walters is the worst lawyer I have ever seen. Her defence was about 4 sentences long. Speaches in front of a judge. She works in CAS's favour and previosly worked at same firm as the CAS Lawyer Christine Mc Leod.DO NOT HIRE unless you never want to see your kids again.
