Paul Pellman is an exceptional lawyer as is his team. He took on my case when no one else would. He is a champion for children especially. His outstanding support, compassion, guidance and professionalism during a very difficult time in our lives was invaluable and so appreciated! Our standard of living has greatly improved directly because of him and I could not have achieved such a satisfactory outcome without his hard work and dedication to my case. I HIGHLY recommend Paul Pellman!!

Paul Pellman ruined my friends life, he completely fabricated a story of him having tremendous wealth overseas and tied things up for years court only to bankrupt both parties and ruin the kids relationship with father. He has a huge ego and was on the board of law society and did know many of the judges whom he could rely on for swift decisions his way. But in the end because of his aggressive bully tactics he didn’t get a penny on fees :) he even tried to sue the bankruptcy trustee… and lost! In summary he is a bad human being, who ruins families for his own personal gain.

This guy (as my lawyer) lied to a judge durring the proceedings and caused my divorce drag for over a year. And once I managed to arrange a settlement he purposely arranged the court order to be TEMPORARILY instead of PERMINANT and that caused me a whole set problems including being arrested by the police due to altercation with x-brother in law which should have never taken place if this Money Hungery ... had done his job properly.Dont waste your money, look elsewhere.

Paul is very knowledgeable, but sadly I think he is too old: his hearing is going down, --he heard things wrong during a trial and was teased by the junior opponent. He also relies on younger lawyers at the firm to organize materials and do all the "leg work" for him, which is generally fine, but I find that he does not do a good enough job reviewing them later. I think at his rate for $650 an hour you can definitely find a better lawyer.

Paul helped me with my initial separation and with a follow up issue (same ex) 20 years later. His work was thorough, his costs reasonable, he was very responsive, and he helped me find a solution (both times) that worked for me. In both cases, Paul effectively dealt with my ex's different legal representatives which, to be kind, were difficult and unreasonable. Also, in both cases, Paul helped me keep in perspective the importance of my relationship with my kids, I always appreciated the importance of his advice. Paul is not a slash and burn, win at all costs, type of lawyer. But I think he's very good for many reasons and was definitely the right lawyer for me - both times.

Mr Pellman has handled my contentious separation for many years. He has helped with advice to come to a temporary resolution which also avoided a trial, even though he and his staff had done an enormous amount of work in preparation for a trial, which would have been lengthy and expensive. His knowledge of the law has helped me reach the current agreement. He communicates via email incredibly quickly (within hours) and his support staff are all fabulous as well! I highly recommend him!

Paul Pellman handled my divorce. After +10 years of heartache and expense, I found him on the Law Society website after 4 other lawyers turned me down. He went head to head against one of the most litigious, unreasonable lawyers in Toronto and cut through the bs swiftly and effectively. He is very compassionate and understanding, and very mindful of the children involved. I have recommended him at least a dozen times and will always continue to do so.

Mr Pellman has a wealth of knowledge & makes sage decisions based on points of law & how best to spend time/money for his client. He responds incredibly quickly to any type of question (including evenings on occasion!) & helps allay concerns without ridiculous promises. He is honest and his advice may not always be what you want to hear, but it is truthful. He truly cares about his client's interests and puts them well above anything else. He is respectful of the trauma of having to make tough decisions, but guides and advises gently and well. He is fair and tough when warranted, but not overly so. He tries to minimize the hurt and has been a true professional. I have spoken to other family law lawyers in Toronto and could not be more satisfied with my choice in Mr Pellman. I highly recommend a consultation with him; it is worth the time and he will honestly advise you if he is best suited for your case.

I would HIGHLY recommend Paul Pellman to every Grandparent out there looking to gain custody of or access to their grandchildren. For starters, Paul would not have even agreed to represent me if my motives were not honourable - he does not beat around the bush, and I appreciate that. My trial has not even started yet, but a lot of work has already been done. I have experienced only exceptional service and been treated with the utmost understanding and respect from Paul. If I have a question or concern, he answers it quickly. He is clearly the expert on grandparent rights, and sincerely cares about the children involved. Because of Paul's expertise, I am confident that my grandson will finally be given the chance to be heard. Thank you Paul, from the bottom of my heart!

He is quite dramatic. Someone should tell him that bullying tactics are against the law.

Horrible lawyer, I was his client but yet he made me feel like i was his enemy. Never clearly defined his fees, charged for things like a brief phone call($100). Raves about himself being a downtown lawyer 24/7, even though he shouldn't even be one.
