The one and only other rating for this lawyer was entered by someone who was not his client but a party the lawyer sued, obtained a judgement against and based on which he began garnishing her wages. As an adverse party to whom the lawyer is prohibited from giving advice, he was ethically bound to decline any communication with her and suggested she seek advice of other counsel. However, she persisted in calling excessively and making abusive comments to his staff

He was in charge of my garnishment and when I called to find out my balance, they wouldn't put him on the phone. Then he did everything but curse me out. I talked to the judge in my case and he told me I had every right to question dean guidry about my case. Another attorney told me to contact the bar assosiation. So, here I am.
