Aaron Vanin has been my lawyer for over 4 years and truly got my life back including my house, my kids and a final resolution. I spent my life savings with multiple other lawyers for 4 straight years before him and Aaron was the one to finally put my extremely adversarial horrific family matter to rest. My ex was incapable of resolution and the matter was finally brought to trial - which I won everything including a SUBSTANTIAL cost award against my ex for how he maliciously litigated for all those years. Aaron Vanin is still my lawyer for other family matters and I am even bringing him an non-family file because he is so good at questioning and resolving. He tends to bill on the light side. I had multiple lawyers before him that charged exponentially more- he is efficient and gets it done for less time. I am so grateful I met him and have him on my side.

Great experience with Aaron Vanin. Guided me through a challenging divorce successfully, despite an atypical agreement. Response after the separation agreement was signed could've been better, but that was a distant #2 to getting this challenging agreement done.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Aaron and the work he did on my matter! He is extremely knowledgeable and highly respected in Court, and I had the pleasure of witnessing this first hand. Aaron is brilliant and will fight for you and your family every step of the way. He helped me with my high conflict mobility application in which I was the successful party. I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to have been referred to Aaron. His assistant Amanda was fantastic. She was prompt in responding to my emails and telephone calls, she helped me to move my matter forward quickly and brought all new important information to Aaron's attention very quickly, without me needing to ask. I would highly recommend this dynamic duo! Beware of the false reviews on here as I belive these are from unhappy and unsuccessful opposing parties.

Aaron Vanin is a train wreck of humanity. He is the most confrontational, obstructive, unnecessarily difficult lawyer I have ever encountered. He has no regard for the interest of children, who will end up worse off and traumatized by his ultra high-conflict approach. He is the stereotype that gives lawyers a bad name.

Aaron and Amanda are a powerhouse. They are an amazing team who are caring and will not stop fighting. Aaron believed in me when no other lawyers did. I wanted to stay in my matrimonial home and despite my exes attempts to force sale on my home, he kept fighting and Aaron won in mediation. He cares about all his clients and treats them like family. He is fast, efficient and gets to the point. He is the first lawyer I didn’t have to remind of my case every time I went back to see him. He has a great memory and remembered everything about my case without me having to remind him. He is very honest and does not rip you off unlike most lawyers. I went through 4 lawyers and am very blessed I met Aaron. Words cannot describe how helpful his assistant Amanda was throughout the whole process. She was prompt at responding to my emails and concerns. I am happily living in my matrimonial home thanks to his efforts and fighting for me. Thank you so much for everything!

Aaron Vanin is just one of many great lawyers that are part of the team of Resolve Legal Group. After a lengthy mobility trial that was handled by Cyndy Morin that resulted in my children not being able to leave the durastiction and me being recognized as an equal parent with 50/50 shared parenting. But then came the appeal. I was going to go outside of the firm because Cyndy informed me she does not personally do appellate work. I was nervous leaving Cyndy but she talked me in to giving Aaron a chance. I took Cyndy's advice and once again she didn't steer my wrong. Aaron I am so grateful for the work you did yesterday and all of the perperation leading up to the appeal. Aaron was successful in having 2 appeals dismissed and court costs awarded. His knowledge of the case law and his delivery in the court room was great. I would strongly recommend Aaron and any other lawyer within Resolve Legal Group.

I had Aaron as a lawyer for my Family Law Matter. The matter was bit complex due to multiple jurisdiction and various other complexities. In total, I had 3 lawyers during the whole case from time to time and I found Aaron the most knowledgeable. Aaron was also very confident and well prepared when we had a full day court trial. Even when communicating (through letter and emails) with the opposing counsel he was very precise in putting our point forward. When it comes to cost, I found Aaron reasonable, I never felt that he is overcharging me, he is a professional, so he completely deserves the fee for time and efforts he has put on my case. Aaron is unethical. He de-prioritizes children and is all sizzle and no steak. He does not operate within a legal duty of care either because he doesn't understand the law or doesn't care about legal boundaries. He has no understanding of coparenting and qualitative value. As such, all information regarding his poor understanding of the law or violation of the duty of care should be shared in this private database so as to protect future individuals and Families from abuse. Aaron is an amazing lawyer. He was my lawyer for my divorce. He didn’t overcharge me at all which was a first since my previous lawyers took me to the grinders. Aaron is a loving family man and he will take care of your needs. I never thought I’d say this but for once I found an honest lawyer. I was skeptical about hiring him after reading the reviews but I saw him in court fighting for his client and decided to retain him. His assistant Kyla is remarkable she is very down to earth and a kind woman. You will love this team

Aaron does not care about you or your future. His response times are ridiculous and he puts zero urgency to complete the task at hand. Because of this it will cost you a pile of cash. I was with him for over a year and he did not accomplish anything. Like zero.I do not recommend him at all. He is a total waste of your time and money, I promise you that.

Mr. Vanin has been a gem helping my son and I. We are very grateful for his advice and patience. The only complaint would be that he is so good looking that it's a tad distracting and I get nervous and very flustered around him. Mr.Vanin and his team are honest and effective. When I met Aaron I was unsure because of these reviews. Aaron has put my son ahead of everything just as I asked. He has always stayed in communication with me, and quick to answer any questions I had or explain things I didn't understand. I have never had more faith in anyone representing me. He believes in truth and rules. I also have ADHD which causes me to get upset easily as well as interrupt and talk a lot. He's been nothing but patient and listens even when he doesn't need to. Aaron has understood my financial struggle and was more than willing to work with me. I highly recommend Aaron!

Aaron was fabulous when I was referred to him by my previous lawyer who had to step away from my divorce. He took over seamlessly and resolved all the issues in a short period of time. the file was given to him on a Friday and by Tuesday he was up to date on everything. His knowledge was beyond compare and his quick wit made it very humorous as well. He knew how much I had paid with my previous lawyer because of Opposing Council procrastinating and not responding so he made an effort to reduce costs for me and made it affordable. I have used Aaron to do my divorce and all I have gotten is screwed over. It appears its hard for him to figure out who he is suppose to be defending which from what I have seem isnt the one paying the bill. He seems to want to drag everything out, as my bill climbs he just seems to be more focused on making sure my bill comes in regularly. So if you need a lawyer to get stuff done dont get Aaron but if you like throwing away money for no results he is your lawyer.

Aaron is not the first family lawyer I have used but he is the best by far. He always returned my call and emails promptly and never over charged me for work done. My bills were always reasonable and well below that of other family lawyers I have used. Once everything was said and done I got exactly what I wanted as Aaron fought hard for me every step of the way.

At first Aaron seems to know what he is talking about (to those of us that are new to this which we all are in the beginning)Then when you get frustrated with NOTHING getting done, and you start to do some research of your own (something one should never have to do), you realize he does not care about you at all. Has no plan of his own. Nothing to offer you. He is getting payed a large amount to just go through the motions. I learned more about my case, family law, consequences and what SHOULD be done from a new (proper) lawyer in 1 hour, than I have for years with Aaron. When on the phone with him, he seems like he is always preoccupied with something else! Doesn't care about you at all. Doesn't fight back at all. Goes along with whatever opposing councel say's. He's never thorough in aswering all questions asked in emials. IE: answers 3/5 questions. His assistant at times does not get back to you, ever! Get the idea? Aaron is a waist of time and money.

Aaron is completely incompetent, for the last 2 years he has made absolutely no progress with my case, he has lost every court appearance he has entered, and has lost everything I owned in the process, he will not defend your rights, or enforce court orders, on several occasions he has prepared affidavits that he had no intention on filling, he WILL give into every request that the other lawyer asks for, he will not submit evidence, he does not return phone calls, or emails, he knows nothing about Family law, he has lied right to my face, lied to my family members, and he has believed the lies that the other side tells him, and then puts the blame back on you.I wish everyone could see this web site before using Aaron, there are more negative comments for his rating than positive, it is obvious that he has no idea what he is doing. He has still not notified me directly that he has quit my case, I found out throe a third party, what a cowered!If I only had more space!

Aaron was unorganized, terrible communication, seemed distracted and unfamiliar with the latest events concerning my file. He was slow to offer communication and advice and appeared in unprepared in court. Aaron is good if your matter requires a simple agreement between two people who just need paperwork done, but if your matter is complicated and requires time and effort look somewhere else.

I have worked with 5 different family law lawyers over 16 years and Aaron Vanin is the absolute worst. How a law firm could appoint this man a partner is beyond me or anyone I know. It's obvioulsy only about the $.He makes promises he cannot keep in regards to how much the simplest of filings will cost, he does not follow direction, it took my partner and I 9 emails of asking him what to include in an affidavit and all 9 times he would change a word or two then charge us and not once did he get it done right. His assistant does everything for him and when he's confronted about it he gets defensive and acts like a child. The world calls this man a Lawyer but if I did what he does with his promises and excessive charges, I would be charged as a "Con Man". Do NOT hire this man, he works for the money despite his speech about how he works for you when you are thinking of hiring him. Want to spend 3 times the legal fees you were quoted and STILL LOSE, then hire Aaron Vanin. What a joke.

I was promised that my divorce was "easy" and would be finished in a coupole of months. It took over a year. He never responded to phone calls or emails or kept me updated on any progress. Just false promises and no facts. He also did not seem to know what he was talking about. I got better answeres to my questions from the internet

He is at Foster Richmond which Has changed their name according to their website. Over billed me at every turn. Had another lawyer work on the file without my permission. It ended up being a disaster. Knows little about property.
