Not sure why he even wanted my case to begin with. I've never heard of an attorney that only deals with his "contingency clients" via phone, fax or email, no meeting in person! As a contingency based client, I felt obligated to help and do as much research and work on my case letting attorney Horner know what I was doing. Apparently this was unacceptable and he dropped my case since I was doing all the leg work, he recommended that I continue to do the rest on my own and sent me all my paperwork back and withdrew himself as my attorney. Waisted a good 3 months of my time. Very poor communication and follow through in my opinion. If you are on a contingency fee basis, be prepared to be treated poorly.

Working with Steve was a tremendous disappointment. He is unprepared, disorganized and a poor communicator. Furthermore, he lacks the basic legal knowledge and skills to operate effectively in court. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Avoid. Poor knowledge and no follow-thru. I have to get another lawyer to fix the screwups
