I am currently still in contract with this lawyer but will be reviewing our agreement tonight and constructing a formal letter of termination. I would rather be unrepresented than agree to a attorney-client relationship with this man ever again. He is abrasive and cold, I lost one court case against the defendant (who was clearly at fault) because he had a smooth talking lawyer with him when Larry Weinstein refused to show up to court after multiple requests on my behalf. That loss will later reflect upon the larger case and is in turn weakening my case as a whole.
I can seldomly get in touch with him and when I do he is extremely rude; he interrupts every sentence, responds to questions in a demeaning manner and generally makes the client feel unworthy of his time.
I understand attorneys handle multiple cases, many of them extremely stressful. If taking on a number of cases is going to hinder your ability to work diligently and behave appropriately, reconsider your case load.
