Our firm does not provide services in family law and we routinely refer our work to Jamie and he never disappoints. Jamie provides great service on a timely basis. We represent a lot of agricultural clients and when they encounter family legal problems they have unique needs and Jamie does a great job addressing their problems.

Jamie was very helpful in regards to my custody issue. He was very good at confronting the respondent's attorney to get to the truth.He refused to be intimidated by the other attorney and refused to back down to the weak excuses from the attorney or respondent.He took my concerns seriously and worked with me to achieve my wishes. Even though it was a 3 year battle, he never backed down or settled on my behalf. Returning emails or phone calls could have been better. All in all, I was happy with the outcome.

Got Jamie turner as a lawyer. After I got letter that he would accept my case I had to call for weeks and leave countless messages just to set up a meeting. Had a meeting about a month later so he could file papers in court. It's been 2 months since then and I've checked the court registry and he never even filed the papers in court! I've called, emailed, left messages for him and his assistant. They literally cut off contact with me!! He shouldn't earn a penny for typing up 2 pages and never doing anything with it. I'm so mad at him I'm going to report him to the law society!!! I encourage anyone else who had bad experiences with him to leave a bad report on here and report him. He shouldn't even be allowed to practice law anymore.

Horrible lawyer! I tell everyone NOT to use mr turner. He doesn't answer calls doesn't return calls charges for crap he doesn't do! His assistants are horrible as well always so excuse! Stay away unless you are in no hurry to get things settled and also settled not in your favour! He was fired by myself like where did He go to law school I shake my head I would be a better lawyer than him!

Jamie Turner in my experience was a awful one, from him not returning calls to not following through with my request for custody. For my ex that had drug trafficking, assualt charges and drug addictions. He did nothing to help bring my daughter into my care, now my daughter is left in a dangerous situation with her mother. I blame Jamie for his lack of work with my case. I wish i used this site before hiring him. Now its up to my new lawyer to focus on my divorce and hopefully get my daughter in my care.

I am incredibly frustrated at the lack on integrity in which Jamie operates. I received a letter from child maintenance on September of 2012 stating that He needed to send in an amended variation order or my file with child maintenance would be closed. Even though my ex has been paying child support since September, child maintenance can not release it because they have not received the proper documentation from Jamie. I've called more times than I can count, and he's flat out lied to me over and over again...even blaming his assistant for his negligence. I have been without child support for the last 10 months, barely getting by at times. He needs to have his license revoked!!

Jamie is a great lawyer. He has worked for me over the last 2 years and has helped me to work through my divorce procedings. He uses my time wisely and bills me accordingly. He has often answered my questions on weekends and after hours. His new assistant seems to be working well with him. I would recommend him to any one wanting to work through there divorce in an amiciable, child focused way. Jamie knows the law and was able to work through the system, the system is slow but being patient payed off in the end. Jamie always provided appropriate advice and was able to guide me through the process. It cost alot but that is the nature of the system and of my case. Jamie thank you for all of your continued hard work. My son and I thank you.

I hired Mr. Turner over 2 years ago because my son had turned 18 and hadn't been in school since he was 16. It should have taken no more than a few months and $1000 to have him removed from my paying child support. Now I am trying to do the same thing with my daughter. I lost my job and maintenance is literally attacking me by taking away my passport, my lisence, garnishing anything I get from the government and leaving me with nothing but $250.00 a month to live on. I am in construction and need my lisence to get to jobs. I told Mr. Turner and he still has not done anything. I have already paid him $1500 and now he is billing me for another $1000. My situation has also been made worse because my ex and her lawyer are pissed because nothing has been resolved. I am screwed as I cannot afford to start over with another lawyer. I can't even manage to get to my new job now. So basically my life is screwed

I wish I never hired him, he would have a meeting to make sure what I wanted for my separation agreement and after a month without answering my phone calls or emails, he would send me an email asking me, again, what I wanted for the separation agreement. I complained at the Lawyers Society about his invoice as it was very high and he did nothing because I fired him.

I really wish I would have seen this website before hiring Jamie Turner. All I asked for was a seperation agreement to be made and when I finally recieved one with no mistakes the I could present to my ex's lawyer I fired Jamie and proceeded to hire a better lawyer that finished the transaction without any problems. I then recieved an invoice in the mail from Jamie charging me for total completion. I'll be talking to the Law Society about him if the invoice isn't adjusted. I'm very disappointed in his lack of professionalism.

Never returned my phone calls or answered any of my very specific questions. He would make dates for phone meetings and then not call when he promised he would, with no explanation. I sought out another lawyer after months of waiting.

I understand that lawyers are busy, however, when you hire a lawyer you expect him/her to follow your directions. Jamie did not hear what I wanted, did his own thing without a regard to what I wanted. It took over 3 years to get my divorce finalized. Phone calls went unanswered, emails worse. His quiet and almost shy personality is opposite to what I expect from my lawyer. He needs to work on his self-confidence and get up and go attitude. Hire a better assistant.

I am very upset with Mr. Turner. Not once did he or his assistant ever return one of my phone calls over the 2 years i had him. NOT ONCE! He never answered my question, he just gave me in direct generic answers. Nothing was resolved and I have since had to find new council. Extremely unprofessional!

He and his assistant do not return phone calls, until after a few months. No info ever given voluntarily regarding my case. The few times I was able to speak to him, he just told me what I wanted to hear but didn't follow through on taking my ex to court on the day he told me we would, and didn't offer an explanation why it wasn't happening. After over a year with this lawyer there is still no child support order in place.
