Mr Balcom recently did our Wills and Estate documents.he was professional and on time. he explained the process in detail and his turn around for these documents was within 24 hours. we would rate this lawyer 5 out of 5.

Absolutely terrible firm. Paralegal never replied to emails. Day of signing for a sale and refinance of a property, Byron himself showed up and did little to reassure me or answer questions. Paid the firm over $1700, walked away, only to be told the figures I got were wrong and I owed more money. I’m utterly disappointed in this firm. Will never use again.

Mr Balcom acted with the upmost professionalism in representing us in buying our home in Bridgewater. His staff was very helpful. Mr Balcom was referred to us by our Realtor Ryan Cook.We were very pleased with our home purchase.

Mr Balcom returned my call within 15 minutes and at 7:30 am to deal with a issue that affected our sale of property. He quickly reviewed the matter and came up with a resolution for all parties. His staff were organized and nice to deal with. I know we can trust Mr Balcom to act in our best interests. I would not hesitate to recommend him as our real estate lawyer. Thank you Mr Balcom

Mr Balcom and his paralegals are the most advanced real estate lawyers in Nova Scotia.Their systems are extremely efficient. The staff is polite and always on top of their files. Mr Balcom was on time and organized on our file.

He won't even touch your file, have fun working with his paralegals and paying for the mistakes. I would not trust him to work on your case he is like one of those lawyers you see on TV dramas very greasy and has been through ethical complaints regularly.

Had paralegal do all the work even sit with us on closing. We never met Byron Balcom at all before closing on our home or even day of. Paralegal Georgette didn't not show us some very important documentation from our sellers lawyer. These documents held some very important information. Had we seen them before closing we would not have bought the home. Paralegal referenced the documents but left out the most negative and important parts, mainly the condition of the outside of the home. Dropped the ball on this one. Would never recommended and never use again.

Byron and his staff were fantastic dealing with our mortgage, and since we've returned to him to handle our refinance. I recommend him to everyone I know, for the experience and knowledge he brings to the table, I wouldn't trust anyone else with our home closings. When I have legal questions I send Byron an email, and if he doesn't respond within 5 minutes I'm shocked. You can't get a faster response time from another lawyer in this day and age.
