This lawyer should be ashamed! He was hired for a criminal matter talked a big game acting like he was your friend and understanding when it was all an act. He didn’t even show up a few times he had me sit in jail for months and months without answering any of my questions. Had to tell him the same things over and over, he would tell me one thing then 2 weeks later it was the opposite and claim he didn’t say what he really originally said. Talks to u like he’s above you and just a complete waste of money and time! Communication was minimal, he sounded legit and confident in the beginning and then changed. It’s like Robinson will pick and choose which cases he wants to put his efforts in and he put ZERO effort into my case. Shame shame

Nicholas took our Sons domestic violence case on a rushed basis , he started with getting a no contact order dropped as our son and daughter in law requested. He stayed in good communication with all of us via phone , conference calls and email . He managed to get the crown to agree to a conditional discharge and all was wrapped up in a total of 4 months as they wanted to finish and move on from it as quickly as possible. Nicholas was extremely efficient, and helped to navigate the court structure/ system as we were clueless. His retainer fee was reasonable as well . He was able to get a very fair deal for our Son , we were more than happy with his services! I would highly recommend him !

N took the time to gather all the pertinent information from me and to actually listen to my input. Was upfront regarding my costs and what specific activities he would undertake on my behalf. Followed through on all aspects of my case, represented my interests for all court appearances and kept me in the loop on all updates to my situation. As my case involved some elements that may not be considered typical, N was very open to reviewing my other resources and information that lended additional context. Was flexible enough to meet during non-traditional business hours in order to ensure we had ample opportunities to discuss aspects of my case as required. N negotiated a very satisfactory conclusion to my case which allows me to maintain my employment and not have a criminal record to worry about. Kept everything plain and simple, and gave honest professional assessments during the entire time. I hope to never need his services again, but if so, I'd hire with no hesitation.

Down to earth, tells you how it is kind a guy. Tells you what to do how to do it, and does his job! Let's you know what he knows and isnt offended to listen to what you have to add. Cant say it was fun but glad it was him, Thanks again!

I wish i read the comments more closley!!! Nick Robinson told me I had to go to trial on my charge, when i had no chance. all this guy is good at is phoning and demanding money. worst lawyer ever i would not recommend him to even my worst enemies - youve been warned

I lost my license, charged with possession, etc. I called several lawyers and tried to explain my situation and see my options. None of the lawyers except Nick listened to what I had to say. Nick asked further details while others cut me off and told me a minimum price and basically said I had no chance. Nick told me my options and explained them and how it would work. He was extremely accommodating to my work schedule when it came to meeting and discussing my case. He gave me a few different options for payment which eased my increasing financial burden that came with DUI fines and fees. I didn't have to go into court once. Nick got all my charges dropped with out me having to go anywhere. I have my license back and no criminal record! Nick is a very good lawyer and an even better person. He was very patient and kind. He even went out of his way to help me find papers I needed well after my case was closed. I HIGHLY recommend him.

My son had a DUI that was quite unfair, questionable, checked out a few lawyers and most said forget about it they are really hard to win cases and are incredibly expensive to process. A friend referred us to Nicolas and he was really positive when we phoned, very encouraging, helped work with us financially and took the case. It was a long process about a year, he never gave up and turned out to be a good guy once we got to know him better. Sometimes wondered if he knew what he was doing but his strategy was the right one and now my son is moving forward with his life, driving, travelling and applying for jobs without a criminal record. I would call him and get his opinion, worth checking him out. We are really happy we did!

I had a DUI charge against me so I called Nicholas Robinson. Nick came highly recommended to me through a couple friends that have used him in the past. With Nicks super lawyer powers we won my case!! He was also very encouraging, and though there was some doubt, he was very optimistic! Nick stuck up for my rights and believed I had a solid case. And even though court was dragged out for almost a year, at the end of the day I'm driving around again with no criminal record, no interlock box or fines. Thanks again Nick!

I do not recommend this lawyer at all. He does not care about his clients. He just wants money, money, money - client be damned. It was obvious from day one. I'm sure there are many fine lawyers in Regina and this guys is sadly not one of them.

I had some domestic violence issuse with my spouse earlier this year. I had looked at reviews for lawyers in regina to help me out. After calling Nick, i went from having a helpless feeling to a very comforting feeling. Nick has always been in contact and explained legal jargan as clearly as possible to me so that i had a good understanding of what was happening and what the outcome was going to be. He wasnt always able to answer the phone but always returned my call in a very timely fashion. Very smart guy and worked hard for my outcome. Incredibly reasonable rates compared to other lawyers in the city. Since the incident, my relationship with my spouse has been much better and by the time this ordeal is done, Nick will have gotten me an absolute discharge (no criminal record). Very pleased overall and recommend for sure.

Nick Robinson helped me out with my DUI charges. He was very honest and always straight to the point. Very knowledgeable. I didn't have to go into a court room once, and my charges were dropped just prior to going to trial, which saved a whole bunch of headaches as the trial was 4.5 hours away! I literally didn't have to lift a finger and had no worries or stress. So here I am with no criminal record and my license back!!! I encourage everyone that gets a dui charge to at least have a lawyer look at the case because they aren't cut and dry like people think they are. And of course, I'd recommend Nicholas P Robinson.

He seemed really with it when I hired him but he got angry at me every time I called him to ask a question. He would suggest that I do one thing and then the next time I talked to him he would tell me the exact opposite. I got a new lawyer who was way better and closed my case very quickly and all for less than what Nicholas charged me to do nothing. Avoid this lawyer.

Mr. Robinson is a great lawyer. he was very personal every time we spoke. he only got ahold of me when it was necessary. he took care of everything, I didn't have to worry about a thing. he is very confident in the court room and doesn't allow cops to push around his clients. will most defiantly use him again. but I hope to not need a lawyer again for criminal law again.

I vehemently disagree with a lot of the other reviewers here. He handled my case very well, and told me precisely what to expect, and how the process worked. He commands an excellent knowledge of the law and speaks frankly with everyone, including judges and other lawyers. I would use his services again without a single doubt.

Mr. Robinson not only gave me a strong criminal defense he cares as a person. Competent and professional in the court room as well as the strongest defense I have ever retained. Travelled 2 1/2 hours for all my court appearances and even when I was willing to take a plea bargain he still has confidence that he could win at trial. I have recommended Mr. Robinson to friends of mine and would confidently do so again in the furure. And I did see reviews on here with reference to his fees however in all aspects I do believe that "you get what you pay for" ..... Thanks for the help Nick

I wanted to like him, I really did. When I first saw him he seemed like a good guy, but it quickly became evident that he is both lazy and inept. Please don't make the same mistake I did - either choose someone else or do the work yourself - you'll save thousands of dollars and the results can't possibly be any worse.

I wish I had found this site before I retained Mr. Robinson. He did an awful job on my case, and following our first meeting where he was very confident and self-assured he appeared completely beffudled, as though he had never stepped into a court of law. He did such a poor job that the judge awarded thousands of costs against me and I am now looking to sue him for negligents. Ironicly, I found out he is already gettign sued for negligents. your better of representing yourself than hiring mr. Robinson.

Terrible lawyer take many thousands from us and did nothing. Raises his rates without notice. Very slow reader. Does not retain information must be told the same thing over and over and over again. Did not tell us he charge fortune for photocopies and fax on top of ridiculously high fees. Sent me a letter asking ME to remind HIM to do certain things... wtf?! HIring this joke was very expensive mistake!
