Please be careful while hiring Phi Shink as your lawyer, he uses scare tactics to scare his clients into bad decisions, manipulates them into agreeing with the other side, is not willing to go the distance and not willing to put up a fair fight, looks for shortcuts to get through the case, takes days to reply urgent and important phone calls and emails even text messages and oh boy sends bills that are through the roof and over charged. He will destroy your life and empty your pockets while he is at it and not to forget will make you regret your hiring him or to have him spoken to even once. Word of CAUTION.

I am extremely disappointed with this attorney Phil is arrogant, cocky. Phillip did a couple of good things. When it came down to arguing with a more experienced lawyer Philip basically did what he was told by opposing counsel. His lack of communication got him fired off my case.

Phil has been working with me on an incredibly hostile separation. He promptly had my children returned from out of province , parenting schedule arranged and I am happily nearing the end. Phil has been great to deal with throughout this most difficult process. Thank you Phil.

I initially inquired by email about my uncontested divorce with an written up separation agreement. He quoted me some ideas for price and timeline via email, and when I showed up he spoke in circles almost rambling incoherently, he couldn't answer anything straight and the price kept creeping all over the map and not in a clear manner as to why. It was sketchy and I felt uncomfortable, had zero confidence in what I was hearing and walked out. Terribly frustrating experience.

Child welfare took my kids away for no reason and he helped me stand up to them and get them back.

After ending a bad relationship I thought that I wouldn't be able to move away with my kids and start over, but Philippe helped me change my court order so that I could. He was really helpful and I'm grateful for his help.

Arrogant. Rude. Has no experience nor knowledge. Was just called to the bar a year ago. Doesn't write affidavits well and he takes forever to do them. He doesn't listen to instruction. Procrastinates. He makes deals with opposing counsel without your consent. Advised me to sign an affidavit without reading it because we were in a rush. Gets easily upset. Very immature. It cost me several thousands of dollars to correct what he did to my case. DO NOT HIRE HIM.

Takes forever to respond. Has difficulty 'crafting' letters to opposing counsel. Wasted so much time with needless e-mails. I could of done better for a lot less.
