Hired Baskette to represent my son on an appeal. He took the case and the money and he promised he would go speak to my son in prison but never went. He finally filed the appeal and it was denied. Baskette is a former Judge but ask yourselves why isn't he anymore!? He is knowledgeable but does not follow through with his end of the deal.

Retained Bill for a case and even though he KNEW the defendant was INNOCENT, convinced him that the DA had evidence against him and advised him to take a plea deal. He ended up with 18 years for a crime he did not commit. DNA evidence now available that was miraculously unavailable during court proceedings, showing that the defendant is in fact INNOCENT. The money paid to the attorney was not used to represent him but to wine and dine the defendants girlfriend. Back room deals with the DA got an innocent person 18 years away from his family. Before receiving payment, attorney was polite, positive and made you feel like you had already beat your case. After getting money and working out payment arrangements, he completely flipped the script. Demanding the full amount up front and then acting like he knows nothing of the case or what's going on, as if money would have made a difference. DO NOT RETAIN THIS SORRY EXCUSE OF AN ATTORNEY/HUMAN BEING.

Paid $2000 for him to represent my son. He never questioned him or met him prior to the hearing. He forgot what the petition was for when he spoke to the judge.

He charged me $1,500 to file a qualified domestic order. He asked for $500 down and $116 to file documents through court. Called him & emailed him a few weeks later and no answer. Finally scheduled an appointment. He had not filed any documents he asked that I pay him full amount to file court papers and so we could get a court date. He gave me copies ofdocuments on used paper with other clients info. A week before court date he was going to cancel, but never got back to if he had cancelled. We showed up to not knowing if he was ready or if I had to appear in court. He is clueless,rude, and obnoxious. He does not care for his clients.

Bill Baskette has been one of the worst lawyers we have ever had. We have been waiting two years for him to file an order as simple as a child support modification. He is horrible on email and telephonic communication. It takes weeks to get any kind of response from him. We have had to do his job for him on certain occasions. Faxing documentation to the Attorney General(which should have been done back in 2012) and just got accomplished by us. He has caused on that failure to have our credit report dinged monthly. He acts like he knows nothing of our case. We waste hours in driving to go to his office for absolutely nothing to be accomplished. We request court hearings in hope that they force him to do his job. Never works. We are unable to file our taxes because he won't file the order. He failed to show up to our court date causing the case to be dropped. Finally made an appearance with another client. Luckily the judge reopened case. Our money has been wasted. Reimbursement please?!

I had to call on attorney Bill Baskette twice, two different occasions two separate cases. it only took an email to him to get started. I myself prefer communication through email and I always received a quick response from Mr Baskette. I went back to him a second time because I was pleased with his work the first time and if I need an attorney again in the future I will definitely hire him again.

I have known Mr. Baskette for over 20 years now. He has helped me out with various legal matters over the years. I have recommended him to many people as well. I am pleased with the work he has done. If I need a lawyer for any reason in the future, I will contact Mr. Baskette first and foremost. He knows me by name. I can count on him to respond to any question I may have quickly. He has always worked out an agreeable payment arrangement if one has been needed. He has even pushed for my release during the holidays and returned my calls after normal business hours. I highly recommend the use of his professional services to anyone in need of legal help.

Bill Baskette is not an attorney that I would recommend for a child custody case or any case for that matter. He is money hungry and if you don't come up with the money on his time then he will act as if he knows nothing and ruin your case. He did that to me. I told him, prior to hiring him, that I would have to pay small payments and he agreed. The day before court he told me to come up with money because he isn't prepared for the case, as if money would buy skill. I did not have the money and he did the worst possible job you could imagine. I advise you to look elsewhere for an attorney or you probably wont win.

Great guy, great lawyer. Knows his stuff when it comes to cyber law. Worth every dollar. Empower him to work your case (give him every inch of information that you possesses. Hold nothing back.) Has a very commanding presence - you will be heard in the courtroom! very thorough researcher.

bad. I thought lawyers were supposed to work and fight for their clients. Baskette takes your money just to file court papers for you. Find another lawyer!!!!
