charles bauer has been a leading family law attorney in idaho for several years. he is sought out by many clients from out of state. he is probably one of three or four of the most knowledgable idaho attorneys on out-of-state relocation divorce cases. his personal code of ethics is exemplary, as is his courtesy to clients, the bar and the bench. i have no qualms recommending that he be given a av rating.

I know Randy French to be a 'sharp' attorney, so approached him in regard to my divorce. He was busy, so referred me to his partner Charles 'Chuck' Bauer. So far so good I thought. Unfortunately Mr. Bauer turned out to be the laziest attorney I have ever encountered. Fortunately my partner and I did a lot of work for him, but when asking for an update on his progress he got stroppy and coerced us into leaving him alone or face more costs. $11,000 was a a bit high, eh? Some weeks before the court date I sent Bauer my witness list . . . but he never filed them with the court! Fortunately on the eve of the court date we settled out of court . . . . and Mr. Bauer dodged a major bullet. Don't just steer clear, run!
