Lee talks a good game during the consultation but fails to execute the plan. Lee’s stated plan was to negotiate a deal prior to court but instead chose the hallways of the court house to negotiate a deal. Lee never contacted the opposing attorney prior to court to inquire what their game plan was or if they were open to negotiation. Be aware that if you dismiss Lee prior to the case being decided he will keep your retainer. Lee billed me $3500 of the $4000 retainer after working on the case for one month and one court appearance.
