I hired Lisa to deal with a legal "situation". Lisa dealt with the matter and got the charges dropped before it even got to the courts. I found Lisa to be very professional, and quite honestly she did the job she was hired to do. The fees were high for what she did in my particular case, but the charges got dropped and my record is clear. Lisa was able to be contacted at any time when I retained her services. I would hire her again if I was in a similar situation. Some of the reviews on here might not be favourable although mostly accurate, but your not hiring a friend- your hiring a lawyer.

Outstanding Lawyer and fantastic person. I have hired Lisa Burgis twice, over the past 12 years and for two different kinds of charges, and her natural ability to present facts and present the truth (both in court and to me as a client) coupled with a wealth of Legal experience and knowledge has given her an immaculate 2-0 win streak for me. The price is expensive... but the results are worth it.

I found Lisa to be very upfront and honest with my case, and cant argue with the outcome either. Was looking at possible jail time and she got me off with a conditional discharge. I had no issues with her and found she held good advice. Very expensive but hey better then doing 6 months!

Choose a different lawyer...bad experience for me. We won the case because my the witness was a no show but I always felt like like was not on my side and she is really expensive and good at giving bad advice.

I give this lady a 5! She is great at listening and explaining the options. The Judge and Crown all seemed to like her and she got for me what we asked for. It was my decision to plead guilty and she told my story to the Judge. My wife and parents were very happy with her too. She is expensive, but worth it. Hire this woman to help you.

All she knows is how to plead "Guilty" on your behalf. She is not a lawyer that will fight for you in any way! She is lazy and likes to make plea deals. Ask her how many cases she actually takes to trial and wins! Very poor lawyer! Do not hire her under any circumstance!!!
