I am I the throes of a nasty divorce and Kimberly has been my rock. She has guided me in the right direction,and certainly let me know when I was out of line. She is smart, caring and above all 100%on your side. I always ask her before I do or say anything because she has been correct every time. She and her staff have made me feel like family through this very difficult time. She has my best I treats in mind with every action she takes. She even cane to court with the flu. Who does that, an attorney who care more about her clients than she does herself. She is a rockstar. She may hurt your feelings but if you do what she recommends she won’t steer you wrong. This is Kimberly Montanari responding to reviews. I appreciate very much the clients who were honest in their assessments. I am puzzled by the other comments. I have not had a case for 6 yrs turn out badly. I also do not have any games or apps installed on my laptop used at Mediation's to run support calculations and draft mediation agreements. I have been practicing for 22 years, the last 18 I have been fortunate to be in the Upstate. Some people are offended every single day by me not saying what they want to hear. I am the one clients take their cues from before having to hear what a judge says about their decisions and conduct. I do not sugarcoat anything. There are also former clients' ex spouses who have a field day with "reviews". The only reason that I went to law school was so that I could do family law. You would be hard-pressed to find another attorney who went to law school just so they could do family law. It wasn't a default area for me it was my first choice.

Kimberly provided legal advice that lasedt a little over three years. During our first meeting I found her to be experienced and knowledgeable. I found out that she was HONEST. She doesn't sugar coat anything, and didn't tell me what I wanted to hear to get my business. I felt that my situation was in great hands and she never steered me wrong.
Her front office staff, Carolyn, was great and always took care of me and treated me like part of the family. Kimberly and Carolyn were both very prompt in responding to my emails and my phone calls. Because of her we are no longer going through custody issues. I don’t think I would ever trust anyone else to help me.
Kimberly was always by my side, always had my back and constantly went up to bat for me. She is a great lady face to face and she's a bulldog in the court room (in a VERY good way).
She is determined and tireless, understanding and tender. she never lost site of the end which was to support and have the best outcome.

She is fairly blunt and be callus at times but I don't know why everyone on here gives her a bad wrap, she knows the law and is good at winning cases. She has to be stern because of the profession she is in. If you want to be taken seriously and respected you have to be straight to the point and firm. I recommend her, perhaps the details of others cases were complicated and messy of course with these rating websites people tend to rate the bad versus giving praise where and when it is due. Please remember there are always 2 sides to a story.

If you want to win hire Kim! Kim is very confident and well respected within the Family Court circuit. I interviewed over 5 attorneys and when I met Kim and retained Kim I knew she could handle my case and win! I strongly recommend you hire Kim.

I hired Attorney Montanari, while I was in a Women's Shelter and after six years the legal, financial and medical problems after same was (is) Horrific and it hurts so much more whenever you faithfully trust, rely, depend and believe in anyone that BETRAYS your Trust and becomes your JUDAS and yet JESUS was 1st and on the 3rd Day he Rose!

She was late to every meeting and hearing I had. She is condescending, obnoxious and short tempered. I ended up FIRING her and hiring a competent and concerned attorney. Not really sure why she treated me this way, but I STRONGLY recommend you look elsewhere for help in divorce or family law. She is TOXIC and her bad relationships with Judges and other attorneys will negatively impact your case.

I am currently using Kimberly and feel I've made the biggest mistake of my life. She's rude, she won't answer questions and isn't doing what I am asking her to do (Which I will pay for if she would). If you are seeking legal advice, please go elsewhere. I am too far in right now to make the change.

I hired her for a divorce for an agreed amount of money which I paid in advance in cash I had pictures -witness-everything I needed for adultery win case. She miss our first appointment at her office-late 1hr for second-gets to court 12 minutes before we walk in front of judge for. 1st hearing - never meet again-I am told I have mediation in48 hrs she is 45minutes late but I was still charged for time she was not there -while in mediators office talking with him she was playing a game on her computer -was not told I had to pay mediator till it's over- in the end she ask for more money 3times which I paid never seen the end with her she was never prepared and I fired her.i was worse off after hiring her than before.i felt she only wanted to drag out the process so she could charge me more money.i am finishing divorce on my own and finally getting what I wanted without her.i would not recommend her for dog catcher much less a lawyer.

Worst experience with this attorney. She was very promising on our first visit then it was her bed side manner that was terrible with not letting me finish my thoughts and interrupting and then how callus she was to my case. Despite DSS findings against my ex Kimberly failed at my temp hearing not even defending my case and my son against his will now has to visit his father after Kimberly promised permanent order of protection. I fired her but yet she tried having me sign a withdrawl release as if she quit the case just so she can keep the rest of my money. She finally made out the correct form that states I dismissed her and now I can get a new attorney. Kimberly basically took my money. Never would I use her or tell anyone else too
