Jennifer Cooper is located in Victoria BC. She was mediator on my family case and failed miserably. She holds a credit card on file so she can bill at will. My case was appealed in the Supreme Court and over turned based on Jennifer Cooper’s wrong interpretation of family law. She is arrogant and under educated at best. Please look elsewhere if your case involves children.

Jennifer saved my life as a person and as my lawyer ,,, she kicked butt I hope you still have your gift in your window in VICTORIA,,,,, not sure how these ppl can say just horrible things about her as a lawyer Must be the green monster coming out in most

If you want a lawyer that does absolutely nothing for you other then take your money then Jennifer is the lawyer for you! She is horrible! I would not recommend her to anyone in fact I am thinking of protesting outside the courts daily, I do not want around see anyone else get taken for all they have and give to her! Please do not use her!

When told on the initial meeting " I don't need the work", should have seen a big red flag!! After many years and thousands of dollars later had to part ways and bring in new counsel at the 11 th hour that was able to get the job done in months!! Extremely unorganized and at times unprepared ( documents not reviewed though in her possession) and having no problem charging to get herself " up to speed " on my time ! Too focused on career goals and forgot what brought her to the party in the first place!! Terrilble experience very unprofessional!!

As another lawyer who has worked with (not at the same firm) as Jennifer I can say without hesitation that I continue to refer friends and family members to her so that they can have the benefit of her expertise and experience. Not every lawyer is everyone's cup of tea, there are lots of good lawyers and not everyone fits for every client. Jennifer has always impressed me. Thanks Jennifer.

I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone. she took my 500 said we would start a case then wasted over 5 mths not returning calls or answering my questions to as to the next step. She also seemed to think i was too poor to pay her.. waste of time as i would have payed anything to fix things

$500 consultation, waited 2 weeks to hae a simple e-mail question answered. Over 3 weeks to get a retainer agreement and 2 cancelled appointments in 7 days. Thanks for wasting 2 months of my life.

I would not recommend Ms. Cooper. If your separation is simple and everyone is cooperating Ms. Cooper may be OK but for the price I would look else where. The bills I paid for Ms. Cooper were mostly from her talking to opposing counsel, and after many bills there still seemed to be no direction or strategy. One incident that brought concern was we were to have a meeting to review opposing counsels counter offer, I arrived to the meeting on time but when Ms. Cooper appeared she had not read the document, which she had for over two weeks, and had to leave the meeting to get the documents and given time to review them during the meet.

Not impressed with the advice I rec'd from Ms Cooper. She had little time to spend on my case due to workload and was definitely under-prepared then overwhelmed by opposing counsel in the courtroom. Her fees are high for the quality of work provided - after spending tens of thousands of dollars with her I found a new lawyer who provided much better strategy and advice. I do not recommend Jennifer for difficult cases.

She is Q.C,but all she does is for money. Her retainer is very experience, but she let other junior lawyer worked for you. I do not recommend her.

Charges excessively and after huge fees yielded absolutely no result. Approach was piece-meal and reactive with little strategy to deliver overall justice and fairness in the resolution of a complex case.
