J'ai eu recours aux services de Me Rochefort à deux occasions. Me Rochefort a su rapidement me mettre en confiance et me décrire la réalité d'un monde qui ne m'était pas familier, celui de la justice familiale. Tout au long du processus, l'une de ses grandes forces fut de ne pas me bercer dans de fausses illusions sur mes revendications et sur un hypothétique déroulement et jugement en ma faveur. Je dirais que Me Rochefort est très "straight forward", ce qui est une excellente qualité. Dans une situation aussi stressante que d'avoir à défendre la garde de mon fils, il a su porter le chapeau d'avocat (très professionnel) et celui de conseiller (très empathique). Nous avons clairement établi les étapes du processus et les échéanciers. Dans le cas où ceux-ci devaient être revus, il fut très disponible et ouvert à en discuter. Me Rochefort m'a offert un très bon service dans mon dossier.

I found out after the fact that in family court the opposing lawyer made an offer that I would have jumped at but he declined it without consulting me. AS the oppposing lawyer told my ex-wife "this guy is only out for money not his clients welfare". This so called lawyer cost me a fortune. Do not make the same mistake I did. Avoid at all costs.

Pierre Rochefort was very suave and prepared my case in short notice but when the opposing party's lawyer saw our affidavit the day of the hearing (Mr Rochfort had not been able to have opposing party served in time for the court date) the opposing lawyer wanted said they needed to re-do their affidavit and would be back four and a half hours later. Instead of requesting a postponement Mr Rocherfort agreed so I paid $225.00 an hour for him to go back to his office and have lunch instead of asking for a postponememt. This lawyer did not prepare me for my court case, he took 15 minutes to "prep" me the day of the case.Suffice it to say I was not ready.Throughout, when Mr Rochefort his calls dragged on needlessly(on my dime).As time went on He would not be stright with me telling me after the fact "well we knew a freight train was coming" when in fact he had given me no clue.When we lost the case he told me now eat peanut butter sanwiches and yur daughter 16 needs to go work at McDonalds
