I was cited with DUI, very distraught over this. I had the opportunity to sit & talk with to Shaffer at Indio office. He explained process, fees and possibility of case going to trial. Had a bench warrant removed, granted classes, court fines (which were expected) I am happy I retained his services.

I didn't receive any callback as was promised. His secretary told me that 1) my Trial de Novo already took place last week, 2) that it was not handled by Shaffer Cormell but by Brian Campbell, 3) that I lost and 4) and that there was no other update, no copies of any letters, requests, etc., & basically nothing else to say or provide me with. In other words, 1) I was't informed about a switch of my lawyers from Shaffer to Brian, 2) I was't informed that the previously discussed & agreed upon strategy for TDN which envisaged sending out many different requests to court to inundate them, was also "simplified" to some version of a light/speedy trial, where trial happened at very first date available, & 3) all was done in stealth mode, w/o any word, contact or notification to me - not even results of this TDN! Needless to say, I'm extremely unsatisfied & disappointed by such treatment, not to mention results. I can lose cases w/ minimal paperwork too, I don't need to hire anyone for that.
