Walking in on my ex-wife cheating on me with my neighbor was definitely the lowest point in my life. However, fast-forward two years to now, and I'm comforted by the fact that I have the house, the kids, my 401-k, and my neighbor is back with his wife. Thanks, Hilary! You are the best!!

I had an unpleasant experience with Hilary. She never responded to my phone calls/emails in a timely manner. In fact, I would always have to call her after a few days to get an update on very simple questions that were asked. She wasn't honest with her experience in the legal guardianship area that I needed her help with. At first she said shes done plenty of these types of cases, and weeks in she mentioned that she hasn't and that she keeps referring to ANOTHER lawyer on her team for help. My matter was very urgent and after 6 weeks and $1k of my money, she did nothing for me and I'm back to square one (and working with a different lawyer). I would never refer her to anybody needing help in the Legal Guardianship area. I was shocked to find that she was rated one of the best lawyers in Illinois. I am now working with a lawyer who is doing what she should have done from the get go, and he's getting it done in Half the Time. Very disappointed :(

Hilary was very professional and knowlegeable during our case. While it was a very emotional time for all involved, Hilary was sensitive to that and she held our hand through the entire process. We continue to keep her on retainer, and trust her whole-heartedly.
