I agree with al of the negative comments left on this site for Ms. Starks. Very unethical, and she will charge you for anything everything. AVOID her and do yourself a favor to get a different attorney. I felt also like she was negotiating with my ex husbands attorney. She never truly stand by me rather she scared me more like my exhusband. Her office staff is so bad and disrespectful. They are her wild dogs barking at you. Lisa does not work for you but just for herself ultimately to drain your money.

Fabulous attorney that got me ever thing I petitioned the Court for. Her cross exam of my ex was intense. My ex got caught in a number of lies including hiding financial data which made the judge mad and his ruling went all my way.

This woman and her office were a worse nightmare than my legal problem. She works for the opposing party and not for you. She does this to keep the prices going up. She quits when she gets as much money as she can soak you for. No compassion like her website says. None at all! And her secretary is the most nasty person ever and she runs the show not Lisa. She even lied to the attorney and twisted up my words and told her I refused to pay when I never said that. Dont expect to get a straight answer form her because she is just busy to take the time to give it to you so she uses Carol to avoid you. Don't waste your money. She does not answer your questions half the time and when she does she does not tell you the truth. Now I have to hire a real lawyer and pay all over again. I am filing a complaint with the Florida Bar. It is just a shame that I checked out all these review websites after this crook got my money.

I thought that this lawyer would be able to help me through my divorce. Not so. No compassion, bad ethics and no helpful office staff. Just in it for the money. Please look else where.

I would probably recommend anybody BUT Ms. Starks. Not worth the money I paid, especially since she charged way more than she told me it would cost. Repeatedly she scheduled court dates only to cancel. And each and every time I got charged with no explanation as to why it was cancelled. My ex lied under oath during a deposition, hid money from his financial affidavit, decided not to continue a family business because in his words "he wasn't going to give me any money from it" (except he was working under the table.) When we got to court it was like I didn't even have a lawyer. As far as I understand all of those are grounds that should have helped me get a fair settlement, plus I even supplied proof and or witnesses to help, and Ms. Starks did NOTHING! By that I mean she literally did nothing. She actually seemed to be on my ex's side more than mine. Plus when I hired her she told me a 16 year marriage was long term, when we were heading into court she told me it was short term. :(

I used her as a divorce lawyer and most of the time I felt like she was working for my ex. When I found out that she had charged me nearly twice what the other lawyer charged she quit representing me. In the divorce settlement my ex got everything the judge ordered. I didn't and my lawyer quit before I did. I followed her advice and had to hire another lawyer to get what the judge ordered.
