Judith Ann Redford Firm successfully regained custody to the mother of 4 little girls who were taken away by an uncaring, unfaithful,estranged husband, by court order. Redford office was able to vacate the parenting plan that allowed the mother,who was the sole provider and nurturer all the children's lives, to see the kids for only two hours under court supervision. By review and recommendation of a court appointed guardian adlitum , the four girls were returned to their mother with full custody, with visitation rights for the father. Justice was served because of the skill and tenacity of the bright young Lawyer,Catherine A. Becker, of Redford Firm. This Lawyer receives GOOD rating all the way. This firm took the case just on its merits, and saw it through with diligence and tenacity. They were courteous, and responsive to the client who couldn't maneauver in the legal world, because of language barrier.I would recommend this firm,unreservedly.

Overpriced lawyer. Went through 13 staff in 18 months. That alone should tell you a lot. Very difficult, if not impossible to work with unless you are a woman. She loves to portray all her clients as DV victims and all men as abusers. She is very overpriced for the service you get. Once the money runs out (very quickly) - so does she. Her attorney assistant is not any better and makes many mistakes. Oh yeah - and prepared to get yelled at and chastised a lot if you dare to question her authority. She is very stuck up and has an attitude that she is above everyone. Cares more about her status than practicing law.

I met with Ms. Redford regarding a divorce/custody case involving DV. Based on what I told her &the evidence I had she ashured me that I had a good case &that she may even be able to settle it through negotiation. We signed a contract I payed the retainer &was given a list of things to get to her in order to get the ball rolling. I did get her the documents she asked for &assumed that she had contacted the courts &my husbands attny informing them of her representation of me. After my husband telling me that I had missed a deadline I called Ms. Redford frantic that I was going to loose my children by default. That was a month ago &even after many voice mails and emails to her, I have still not heard from her. Nor did she ever contact the courts or my husbands attny informing them that I had an attny. When I ask the only person who i have been able to reach (the receptionest) if she is even my attny. he says that is unclear! Wow! I will be reporting her to the bar!
