Mr Manning does not talk to family.When we got to court we had go over to him and make our self been knowing .Then he could of had our family member brought back court but he didnt even check see what he had do .He dont know how talk to judge no defense at all i could of did better then he did plus p s y all that money ...Not worth it

He was horrible. I feel as if he would have rather helped the other party in the case rather than me who was paying him for his help! I would rather go to court myself. VERY disappointed! All he cared about was making it less work on himself and getting paid.

I feel as if he sold my brother out. We hired him because we heard he was one of the best in Raleigh, maybe once upon a time. We had ammo to make the defense look bad in a couple of different ways and he never fought for my brother. We never really questioned him, as we wanted to because we figured he was working the case and we figured he was doing more than what we would have knowledge too. He also took the first deal they offered him to my brother and never discussed it with my father who had power of attorney. Then he made out like my brother would get under ten years under this special waiver cause my brother had been cooperative, but on sentencing day he back pedaled on that and it turned out not to be true. Now my mother and father are distraught over his lack of fighting and the amount of time my brother received. Bottom line stay away, he is in line to be a judge one day and does not care to make waves with anyone… especially the defense, he’s just looking to make a deal!
