Mr. Scott showed deep knowledge and compassion when helping me through my divorce. He provided me his personal cell number for emergencies, which I very much appreciated. He's a great lawyer, but an even better person!

Not very happy with this lawyer/law firm. I originally met with and hired a junior lawyer to represent me and from the very first visit this office was unorganized. I was passed around. I phoned to complain and ask what was going on. I was told to meet with Mr. Scott for no charge to discuss my concerns. Next think I know he is representing me at a higher cost per hour. I ask to have a jr lawyer represent me in my discovery and after both parties agreed on a date I was told the day before the discover that there was no jr lawyer to represent me and that Mr Scott was. They were supposed to file my F8 form which I had given them a month before the discovery. They never did it. Even after being asked again at discover if it was filed. He should have gone back to the office and had it done. But nope. I was charged a lot of money for nothing except come emails, phone calls and paper organization. I Would not recommend this office.

My only complaint is how difficult it was to get a hold of him. Frequent calls when you are already on edge from a heated custody case are not what any parent needs! Otherwise, he was brilliant! He knew his stuff, was well organised, affordable, and put up with many shenanigans by the OP. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Laurence's knowledge and understanding of family law along with his many years of experience have proved to be of tremendous value to my family case. He has kept costs down dramatically by not spending time, (and our hard earned dollars), on unnecessary details going over information repetitively. There have been times when Laurence has responded very quickly to emergency situations that have arisen. He has great integrity and has worked hard to help my family for the past few years. Our experience with Lawrence Scott was wonderful. We had a very messy custudy situation with our child that was on going for a few years. Lawrence was extremely straight forward with us and always made sure we new all the options for our situation. He was extremely considerate of my childs needs and very compationate while we were completely stressed as each court date approached. Thanks to Lawrence we have custody of our child and have been able to happily move on with our lives. I would highly recommend Lawrence Scott for your family law needs. Ours was an extremely messy situation and Lawrence was a very strong voice for us! Thank you so much Lawrence Scott for brining our family together!

The exact same thing happened to me and when he gets pushed to do what is right he gets defensive and then blames you. He actually blamed me for not giving him evidence that he had all along. He is highly incompetent and stole my money and wasted my time. Because of him I went a very long time without seeing my daughter. He left me with things in the air and backs away after he messed everything up.

was with Quay Law Centre and then Westminster Law Group and now ? His reply to why he moves around so much was a little weak which should have been a red flag.I had to type out my own afidivit, and in all honesty wish I had represented myself.Did not return my phone calls. No passion, no plan and now reduced access to my sons. It could have not gone any worse than it did with Laurence Scott at the helm.
