Wachbrit-Braverman is the most inept attorney around. Her knowledge is lacking, she is unaware of basic facts within the judiciary system. It's actually shocking that someone can be in practice who knows so little. She tries to blame her clients for her lack of knowledge too. It's always someone else's fault that she did the job incorrectly, never hers. She bills erroneously and won't even provide a detailed bill unless pressed by a judge. This woman is "shady" personified. She lies, cheats, and steals.Unless you're up for a huge headache, I absolutely do not recommend her. A lay person can do a far superior job than she can within the legal system.

Diedre Wachbrit accepted a $5000 retainer to assist my family in the transfer of a special needs trust. She gave us excuses for six months as to why nothing had been done, including that her employee had morning sickness and couldn't type, for example. After repeated phone calls to her office, I was finally told that there was a petition to be reviewed and finalized. The petition was incomplete, incorrect and looked as though a sixth grader had written it. In the end, we terminated services with Ms. Wachbrit for her incompetence. She agreed to refund our deposit, however, she has not. She kept $3000 ...and never explained why. She did less than five minute's worth of work. We are taking legal action against her as we have no other choice. She refuses to speak with us. Then again, she wouldn't speak with us prior to our terminating her services. I cannot recommend an attorney less than "1" on here or I would. She is an immoral, lying, thief that karma will catch up with.
